The location is between Kyoto Station and Kujo. There are many hotels in that area called Sakura terrace, but with different suffixes. The grade can be judged by the price. Generally speaking, people who have stayed in Japanese hotels know that the good ones can be very expensive. For the bad ones, there is still a bottom line. It depends on your preference!

Isn't this the best place to stay cheaply around Kyoto Prefecture? The room only has a bed and a sink, but it's nice and clean so I didn't mind. The shared space on the first floor is spacious and comfortable, and it's also nice that you can drink as much coffee and tea as you like. There is no kettle, deodorant spray, drinking cups, etc. in the room so you have to ask the front desk to borrow them. Apparently you have to exchange them for special coins to buy food and drinks, which looked delicious but was too confusing so I gave up.

It was very comfortable. The smell of the previous guest remained in the room, which I really disliked and it made me feel sick. Other than that, it was perfect!

This hotel has public bathrooms, so I was a little shy at first, but I got used to it on the second day. The bed is huge and there is a free laundry room. It is a cheap but not bad accommodation option.
