Booked this location for a two night stay for our 5 year anniversary for the purpose of visiting Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure theme parks. Called a day before arrival to see if I could have a bottle of wine or champagne waiting as a small surprise for my wife. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite but informed me that this location didn’t offer such a service. He did say he would make a note on the account that is was an anniversary trip. Upon arrival the following day, the concierge who greeted us offered us a congratulations as we checked in. We were upgraded rooms to a junior sweet and even had our parking fees waived. It was a very thoughtful gesture and really got our trip off to a great start. Every staff member we encountered was very polite and welcoming and we really appreciated it. Room was clean. Did not have a single issue. Only a 10-20 minute drive from Universal with a car rented.

Perfect location, lots to do at hotel. Free breakfast, supper and 3 free drinks can't beat it. Walking distance to Disney Springs, shuttle to parks. Clean room, lots of towels, fridge, microwave & giant pool with hot tub. Felt like I was at a resort in the Caribbean. Will definitely be back.

Not even sure where to begin, the stay was THAT fantastic! Lindsay at the Front Desk was just amazing in helping us prior to arrival day and just a wonderful person. Arrival was easy despite being a very big property with many business and conference travelers around the lobby area. Parking was plentiful and close by. The room was recently remodeled and was done VERY nicely. The pools and gym were just wonderful- clean, up-to-date, enjoyable and well kept. Perhaps the best part of the experience was the proximity of the property to Disney Springs, to I-4. to Publix and to the outlet mall were all just wonderful. For comparison, the following night after departing, we stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and my wife commented that the Hilton was just as great as that hotel. In future, I don't ever see myself staying at another Disney resort and that THIS is my Disney hotel for all future stays. My daughter stayed here over Spring Break from college a few months prior to our stay and she had great things to say about her experience on that stay; she grew up on Disney resorts and Disney cruises I had taken her on, so she knows what a nice hotel feels like and this hotel has raised the bar on all future hotel stays....it was THAT great an experience. Kudo's to the staff and the management team for a well run facility and a wonderful staff.

Very good, the hotel also has a very fragrant aroma, the surrounding environment is also very good, walking to a shopping plaza is not far, the outlet is also close to the taxi, it is recommended, the price is very reasonable

Dear Fort Wilderness Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some feedback regarding our recent stay at Fort Wilderness. We were very excited about our camping trip; however, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our experience. I had initially intended to leave a positive review, but due to the numerous problems we faced, it is difficult to do so. This trip was a graduation present for my son, and unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations, essentially ruining what was supposed to be a special occasion. Many aspects of our stay did not meet the advertised standards, and it has left us questioning whether we would return to this property or recommend it to others. The issues we encountered include: 1. **Refillable Cups**: We purchased a $24 refillable cup, but the ice machines were not functioning, which was very inconvenient as well as frustrating. Why did I pay such. High price for something that doesn’t work? 2. **Electric Bikes**: We were disappointed to discover that electric bikes are not permitted, only manual bikes. Additionally, the website does not clearly state that golf carts are generally sold out, leaving guests with limited transportation options unless they use the buses or walk. 3. **Pool Seating**: Many guests reserve pool chairs with towels without using them, leaving others without seating. This practice should be monitored by staff to ensure all paying guests can enjoy the pool amenities. 4. **High Food Prices**: The cost of food items, such as $11.99 for a slice of pizza, is excessively high. 5. **Fishing Areas**: The designated fishing areas are limited to two small spots, both of which are in direct sunlight. This makes it challenging for families with young children to enjoy this activity comfortably. It also makes zero sense when there are an abundance of shaded spots that fishing is possible. 6. **Chipmunk Show**: The seating arrangement for the Chipmunk Show is problematic. Children are required to sit in the bleachers far from the stage, which causes them to become upset because they cannot see the characters, disrupting the experience for everyone. 7. **Playgrounds**: The playgrounds are not shaded, making them uncomfortable for children to use during the day. 8. **Pool Restrictions**: Guests are not allowed to jump into the pool or sit on the edge to watch their children, yet there is often no available seating due to reserved chairs. This creates a stressful environment for parents with young children. Given these experiences, it is hard for me to consider returning to Fort Wilderness. This is particularly disappointing because we have never encountered such issues at other Disney properties. The standards here did not meet the usual Disney quality, and it is clear that improvements are needed.  We had high hopes for this trip and believed that Disney would provide a memorable and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We

Absolutely a beautiful and Comfortable stay! The pool is really nice and the bar by the pool was nice too! We were in Orlando for 2 weeks so had to use the laundry room at the hotel and it was clean and nice but keep in mind $4 to wash and $4 to dry 1 load. I was charged a resort fee of $30 a night and parking was an additional $20 a night. I did not know this until.check in!! I asked to have parking removed because an extra hidden $50 a night cost was alot!! They did remove the parking said it was because I was an Annual Disney Passholder. I feel like you should know all the cost before you book. Other than the additional fees the hotel and our stay was great!
