We stayed in room 4 which had the best views from the bedroom and the bathroom and the jacuzzi/light bath was AMAZING as well as the walk in shower. The room was that big it was like having our own suite. The lady (sorry we can’t remember your name) who covered breakfast was really helpful and friendly.

Lovely location with beautiful views over Loughrigg fells from the bedroom windows. Bedroom clean and bed comfortable. Mini fridge with bottled water was a nice idea. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choices. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Would have explored the gardens if the weather had been a bit dryer but its the lakes and that water has to come from somewhere Easy to walk into Ambleside and there is a bus stop not far from the property that you can use to get buses to Grasmere, Keswick etc. In all a lovely relaxing stay. Excellent stay at Crow How. we had a beautiful room with amazing views. It was about a 10-minute walk into Ambleside, which was perfect. Jill was extremely helpful with things to do and where to eat. Breakfast at Crow How was first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

This was a lovely place to stay. It was an ideal location as it was within walking distance to Ambleside. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of choice at the breakfast which was included in the price. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Beautiful setting with fantastic gardens. Excellent accommodation, spotless and efficient with a great breakfast choice. Within walking distance of Ambleside and other great local walks. Everything catered for and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

If you like being a little away from “downtown” noise and you are driving yourself, then this is a great place to be. Excellent location, courteous staff, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms and great Cumbrian breakfast. Just in case it’s a rainy day, they have a cosy living room with lots of board games :).

Our stay at Crow How in Ambleside was lovely! The country house is perfectly situated in the Lake District. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, with a stunning view of the mountains from our windows. The breakfasts were delicious, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at Crow How several times and will be visiting again later this year. The rooms are all individual and beautifully furnished and decorated. They are very comfortable. The staff are all amazing. We receive a lovely welcome and they all remember us. The building and the grounds it stands in are stunning. It is a short distance from the main road so there is no traffic noise and it’s about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Ambleside. You cannot fail to fall in love with Crow Crow.
