I stayed here before starting at the local language school. It is very close by Le CIEL (good to know if you are being picked up by a host family). I found the hotel very clean and well enough equipped. I arrived late, and the restaurant was not open, but there is a McDonald’s just outside. The room was a little small, the bathroom even smaller, but this might be common for France. There is an all-in-one hand/body/hair wash that both I, and my French boyfriend agreed smelled horrible. The bathroom has a "door" that rooks shut. The walls, en general, seemed thin, but I don’t think anyone was staying near us, so it was hard to tell.
The room itselfI found to be a good price at €70, but the breakfast at €12 each was definitely not. Self service. Nothing much cooked, a few crepes, some fruit, toppings to put on nothing. The coffee maker was excellent though and with good sized cups. At this point in France I would pay €12 for two decently sized coffees, so I guess it works out. The woman working the front desk was wonder and very helpful.
The area itself is very quiet and pretty, nice if you don’t like the business of Brest.
