There’s not many places to stay in this sleepy little town so from that perspective the Parsonage is okay. But we had electrical issues with the window air conditioning which jumped from room to room. It was a hot day which probably taxed the older systems. Breakfast was pop tarts, hard boiled eggs, granola bars, and toast. The single bathroom has a shower is that is in a quaint tub with a difficult water flow. The house has clean floors but a deeper clean would probably benefit future reviews.

Owner was comfortable with 7 strangers sharing a single bath. We were not. Drove 3 hours home instead of staying. The place was like stepping into the twilight zone.

The house is very historic and interesting. Room was comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast in the old church was a unique experience. Host was personable but maybe shares a bit too much for our tastes.

John, our host seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable & relaxing. The Parsonage is fabulous architecturally & he has done a fabulous job with decor. His approach to breakfast was quite appreciated. He offer a variety of selections for breakfast; we had omelettes that were delicious. He serves your breakfast in such a way that you feel like royalty. I highly recommend the Old Parsonage; I would love to stay there again if the opportunity ever presents itself!
