By the way, I didn't go there. The reservation service is so terrible that I finally gave up going there. This is the first time in my life that I've encountered such terrible people when it comes to making a reservation. Impossible to wait for someone by phone. The email staff is incompetent and cannot even read what is written to them. When finally (after 4 emails) we receive a proposal email and we validate it 60 minutes later, we receive another email 4 hours later to tell us that the suites are no longer available..... Lamentable. I will never go to this place.

The Grand Bain Hotel is old, and seems to be quite worn out. Not impressed at all. The pool was wonderful and well kept. The breakfast at Hotel France was great. But cannot recommend The Grand Bain Hotel. The Hotel France seems in better condition and updated.

Beautiful hotel, good welcome but a little aging. The bathrooms could do with a refresh. To go to the baths which are on site, it's an obstacle course, it's complicated and not practical.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel.... Just a mockery of the customers. We had an outdated room with damaged furniture, the carpet is stained in several places, the entrance socket moves and is dangerous, the curtains are stained and the TV needs to be replaced because it no longer works. The bathroom is old with a shower cubicle that closes very poorly, the tiles cracked in several places with moldy joints, the shower tray moldy and stained and only one toothglass for 2 people! In addition, a door leads to the room opposite ours with noise in the evening and early in the morning. Just as the staff who served breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning did not greet anyone, these people chatted among themselves and we disturbed them if we asked them for coffee or something else but I assure you that we have them greeted. We reported our dissatisfaction to reception but were told that the hotel was full and that there was no solution. But why did you welcome us knowing that the hotel was full? We sent emails and at the end of the 8th, a simple response that technician would pass. We sent a registered letter to management requesting reimbursement but... no response. For a 3 star hotel!!!!!!

Maison Blanche superior double room: bedroom, bathroom and aging corridors. Carpet not very clean. A renovation is necessary…. Excellent breakfast buffet, evening meal at average “damn good” restaurant. The staff is friendly, but it's a bit unusual that we find them in jogging pants having lunch at the same time as the guests as well as meeting them again at the thermal baths. Top-notch wellness services.

Visited the spa only, not the hotel. The spa is exceptional and despite some poor reviews we found the staff to be welcoming, friendly, informative. Went for the Roman Irish experience with the brush massage. Very professional, relaxing experience and highly recommended. Various tariffs so you can pick and choose if you want just thermal pool entry, massage or sauna. The sauna village is recommended too. Both the Roman Irish area and the sauna are nude, no kids allowed. You book a time slot and chances are you will be alone for the 2 hour session, maybe just catching the previous couple leaving.

The hotel and the baths are abandoned. We have been observing this decline in quality for 10 years now. Today, spending a night in this hotel should be prohibited. Only the reception and the website can still be misleading. For the rest, run away!!
