Dirty room, crumbs all over the floor, hair in the bathroom. When I opened the sofa bed, under the cushions were more crumbs and some full-sized Cheetos. There were no linens, blankets, or pillows for the sofa bed, just an empty bag in the closet. Management scheduled one person to man the desk when the hotel was full. I got to vacuum the crumbs myself with the hotel vacuum while the front desk staff member tried to find bedding. None if it mattered because the sofa bed wouldn't open. I spent a very uncomfortable night on the hard sofa with about 1.5 feet of sleeping space. The people upstairs were yelling, running, and jumping off beds until well after midnight so I probably wouldn't have slept well anyway. The front desk staff called their room and admitted to me that they could hear the noise over the phone, but apparently, there was nothing they could do. This hotel has been going downhill over the past few years. We've stayed here a number of times as we visit St. Mary's four or more times each year for swim meets. I will be taking this hotel off our list permanently. Please be advised that their manager will not contact you even after the staff promises they will be in touch. Choice Hotels will tell you it's not their problem and hang up on you when you ask for help. There is a reason this is one of the lowest-priced hotels in the area.
