Nyetsang Grand Hotel

Xian'Zu Island
The hardware environment and decoration are really good, and the breakfast is also decent. It is worthy of an old five-star hotel. The front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type, and the accommodation experience was okay. Although the location is far away from the Potala Palace, it is still very convenient to take a taxi. It is close to large supermarkets, hotels, nightlife areas and hospitals, and the surrounding citywalk is quite comfortable.

Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple
The hotel is strategically located not far from Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace, and not on the main road, avoiding the noise of passing vehicles. The room was clean, especially the professionalism and enthusiasm of the housekeeping manager Wang, which made me feel at home, and was also an important reason for me to stay for 4 more days. The housekeeping attendants were also enthusiastic and serious. The only unpleasant thing was the first night of check-in, because the weather in Lhasa was relatively dry and I needed to drink more water, so I asked the housekeeping department to send two more bottles of water at night, but the housekeeping department refused because they had already given two bottles in the afternoon. Two bottles of water are not worth much, but it will chill the hearts of guests staying on the first night. After all, Lhasa is a plateau city, and it takes some adjustment on the first day.

Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple
The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

Drepung Monastery/Jinzhu West Road
The hotel staff was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. A buffet breakfast was given as a gift. In particular, the hotel staff Zhuoga was very warm and thoughtful, the reception was attentive and meticulous, and she considered the guests very well. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks.
Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.
Arro Khampa Lhasa

Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple
A hotel you must stay in when you come to Lhasa. The free sweet tea in the hotel is delicious. I bring a cup every day when I go out. The breakfast is also great. The room is really warm. I couldn't sleep on the first day because it was too hot. The hotel provides oxygen. My husband said it was very effective. I can ask the housekeeper to bring breakfast to the room. The service is very good. I stayed for three days. There were a lot of express deliveries every day. They helped me bring them up. They also helped me get the takeaways. Thank you very much. I personally like this hotel very much
