Shuhe Old Town
The decoration and design style of the B&B are very good, very textured, and you can tell at first glance that it is very attentive. The guys at the front desk are very enthusiastic and always invite us to have tea when we come back in the evening. The breakfast is also quite rich, and it is a very cost-effective B&B. The location is only a few minutes' walk from the main gate of Shuhe Ancient Town, and parking is very convenient. The surrounding area is also close to Baisha. Recommended.

The Old Town of Lijiang
This Liman hotel is located at the edge of Lijiang ancient town, very convenient for car access and walking through the town center. The hotel room deco is modern and hip with a voice activated AI home assistance (小崔同学). The best feature is their personalized service by the hotel manager, Jason (阿健） and their staff （阿琛，小王）. Before we arrived, they communicated through WeChat with all the detailed info. When we arrived, Jason welcomed us with a multi-hour comprehensive tea ceremony and offered exquisite Yunnan local tea tasting. Jason was very patient and knowledgeable. Next day Jason gave us a personal tour for hours walking through through the major ancient landmarks and internet hot spots (instagrammable) explaining each history or modern fames. Jason and his team made us so welcome feeling welcomed and hosted by friends. We strongly recommend this Liman Yilan Yunshan Viewing Hotel to any travelers for the hotel location, tasteful style and, most important of all, the friendly and personal service. Our sincere thanks to Jason and his team who added the fund memory of Lijiang!

We had an excellent stay at Lijiang Zheyuan Snow Mountain Villa. The villa is brand new and very clean and spacious. The location is very good as it is a 4 minute walk to several breakfast spots and 8 minutes to Shuhe Ancient Town. We prefer this area because it was peaceful, quiet at night for sleeping, in walking distance to several services and not as overwhelming and crowded as Lijiang. However, Lijiang Old Towne is just a 15 minute ride. The best part of our stay was the host. He was extremely helpful with directions, travel ideas, arrangements, restaurant recommendations and more. His help, guidance and hospitality was exemplary. If you are going to Lijiang I highly recommend staying here.

The Old Town of Lijiang
During my Lijiang Shangrila trip on october 23rd to october 27th 2023, i stayed on 4 different hotels. Among 4 of them, this one is my least favorite. Their officer is quite nice actually. They helped to pick up my luggage when i arrived, showed me the way to the hotel, and helped to bring my luggage to the parking area. Their service during afternoon tea session was also perfect. The let down part comes from its price to value factor. This hotel has some rooms which their price are more expensive than 5 stars hotel. I have stayed in its most expensive room and the view is far from the pictures we saw in trip.com. their officer even not botheref to clean the room's window which becomes the specialty of this room. the best viewing area in this hotel is in its cafe, so if you still want to stay in this hotel just stay in its standard room and go to its cafe for picture. It also doesnt provide breakfast before 8 AM. It's the house's policy but it just not suitable for me who need to move in the morning. Nobody can speak english so that it's quite challenging for me who can not speak chinese at all. It was informed in trip.com that they provided ”good bye” snack in the evening but during my stay they didnt offer it to me. When i asked about it, the officer said that it's not available anymore. I know it just a simple thing, but they need to update the newest information. The other thing is parking area. It's not really closed with the hotel and the way from parking area to the hotel is not flat. The officer of this hotel will help you, but still, if you have many luggages you better think twice before staying inside the old town area.

I came to Lijiang from Guangdong, a city without winter, and chose this hotel. After arriving at the hotel, the boss saw that the two of us were carrying boxes in large bags and small bags. We came to help carry the luggage as soon as possible. The boss was very enthusiastic and the people were very handsome and very good! The hotel is in a good location, less than 100 meters from Shuhe Ancient Town. It takes a few minutes to walk. The next day I want to go to the snow mountain to play. The boss also sent me to the foot of the snow mountain. I am very lucky to meet such a enthusiastic boss. I will come back here again next time I travel to Lijiang!
