The Old Dairy Guest House Liverpool

Myself and my son stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding reception in the Concert street area of the city .This hotel is great value for money clean and very quite. Very welcoming host would I stay there again--YES I WOULD.... Definitely

The page on this website is very misleading. None of the 58 pictures are of anywhere remotely similar to the accommodation they are meant to represent!!! This is in the heart of terraced, urban Liverpool without any hint of greenery, and none of the photos are anything like the place! This impression overwhelmed any other, and was the source of my disappointment... this needs to be rectified so that future guests know what they've paid for!

We have just returned from an idyllic holiday break at the Old Dairy House in Arne, Dorset. It's a place which allows you to be immersed in the countryside, yet within easy reach of beaches and scores of places of historic and scenic interest. If you want to avoid the car, there are lovely walks in every direction, and local people are remarkably friendly The house itself is spacious yet homely, with four bedrooms and gorgeous living rooms. The kitchen is well-equipped and low maintenance, whether you are preparing a snack or something more substantial. The house looks at its most attractive from the large and well-tended gardens. Any place we stay has to be dog friendly, and the Old Dairy is cetainly that. Our poodle Barney loved to race around and explore the garden, and we always knew he was safe, because it's fully enclosed. Among our happiest memories will be the mornings we spent hand-feeding deer in a meadow at the bottom of the garden. All in all, the property fully deserves its five-star rating -- and perhaps a little bit more.

We booked 2 nights at The Old Dairy. Unsure what to expect but when we arrived we were both very pleasantly surprised. Michelle is definitely the hostess with the mostest, made us very welcome. The free continental breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Hope Michelle & David enjoy their long overdue break. John & Sallie

We came down from County Durham to celebrate a birthday for the weekend and we chose the old dairy to stay. It’s on a quiet residential street and we found the owners friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. We really couldn’t complain about anything. It’s roughly £8-£10 for an Uber into the city centre (we never tried the buses) but noticed there were plenty about. I can’t understand some of the bad reviews on here, we really couldn’t fault the place.

Do not stay there . The place is run by rude, entiteled people. Absolutely horrible conditions. Location very unconvinient for town centre. 8pm curfew is like staying at your very strickt aunts place then a gueshouse. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

We just stayed for 3 nights whilst on a birthday weekend away to watch the Grand National. This place is lovely and clean, very comfy beds, breakfast had everything you needed & great access to city centre, but the best bit was Michelle & David, they are fabulous hosts who cannot do enough for you! The banter was on point to, right up our alley! We will definitely be back guys, and thank you so much for making my birthday weekend so special 💙

Michelle, who was the owner was lovely and really accommodating to our needs. She was bubbly and friendly. I loved the security of the guest house, I felt very safe there. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was amazing I didn’t want to get out, it was so comfy. Thank you for a lovely stay, Vicky and Katy xxx

Lovely weekend stay for myself and my son celebrating his turning of 18 In the city. Great price and location with very reasonable taxi fares to and from the centre. The lovely hosts make it for me, personable and considerate and made us feel very welcome. Our room was just what we needed, warm and clean and very quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you 😃
