Stayed at Rathbones Hotel for 1 night on a B&B and Theatre break. From Monday 17th to 18th June 2024 Firstly about the staff. We were greeted at Reception by the duty manager, Stephanie. What a lovely, positive young lady. Extremely knowledgeable regarding the surrounding area. She even went out of her way and walked us down the road to make sure we were heading in the right direction for the Theatre. We also requested extra decaf T bags, which, by the time we got back to the room after a short walk, the T bags had been delivered. The night receptionist gave us a warm welcome on our return from the theatre and asked if we had everything we needed before going upstairs to our room. In the morning, we were greeted warmly by the lovely ladies covering the restaurant for breakfast. a beautifully laid out buffet breakfast, which tasted as good as it looked, plus the coffee and toast was HOT and FRESH. (it was so nice to get decent hot coffee & toast, not like some establishments that leave the toast sitting on the side for 3 hours before serving and the coffee made with Luke warm water) on returning to our room before checking out, we passed some of the housekeeping staff, who again acknowledged us with lovely smiles and greeting. Back in reception on checking out, Antonio, the operations manager, greeted us. And took interest in how our evening had been and the show we had seen (Moulin Rouge). As for the hotel it's self, not only is it stunning! It is also very warming and welcoming. All the rooms and areas we accessed were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. and my bed, OMG! I have never slept in anything so comfortable!! (Stephanie, Antonio- if your reading this, I need to know where the mattress on the bed nearest the door in room 505 comes from please... 😊😂) All the staff, front of house, and behind the scenes are an absolute asset to the Rathbone Hotel. And the Rathbone Hotel is an absolute asset to the staff.
