If I wasn't so tired I would have checked out an gone elsewhere. The location was the only good thing. I'm a titanium elite and have stayed at a lot of hotels. This hotel promised a lot but the experience I had was underwhelming. The lobby looked like a dorm room common area. So was the dining area. Everything was one open space with tables and chairs running into one another. Bleah. The room I got upon check in was across from the ice machine and shared a wall with a utility corridor. I already heard banging from the carts going back and forth. After an hour of waiting, I checked my luggage in at the bell desk and headed out. Come back a few hours later, and the front desk STILL had to scramble to find me a quieter room. We were then told we got upgraded. oh goodie, but the room looked the same. what was the upgrade? why, a balcony and not just an ordinary window. Gee thanks. The lighting in the room was terrible. only a floor lamp and two harsh spotlights on the bed. That's it. But wait for it...when I pulled back the covers, my sheets were dirty with a grease stain and a hair! Yuck! did housekeeping not change the sheets? did they not do an inspection and realize that no guest would like bedding with a dark stain? Makes me wonder. I called downstairs telling them about the dirty sheets. No apologies, no embarrassed staff. Just apathy. they sent someone up with clean bedding, so I guess I had to make up the bed myself. If you can, I would advise you to go elsewhere
