The riverside scenery is invincible, like a fairy painting!
Manager Yao also has a very thorough understanding of Laos, which made our trip worry-free.
The high-speed rail airport is also free to pick up and drop off, and there is also an electric car to send to the ancient city night market, which is great!

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

After asking around in the past, I found that room rates in Luang Prabang are generally on the expensive side (compared to local prices). Although this hotel is not worth RMB 300 in China, considering the local conditions in Laos, it is considered to be in good condition, clean and tidy, with complete facilities (air conditioning).
Be sure to remember your boss’s phone number or add him on WeChat! Because it is a B&B, there is no one at the front desk at night, so you have to contact the owner directly.

A quiet cozy hotel near Mekonga and the city center. Officials speak good English if you have questions - boldly write them to the mail, they will answer. Cleaning was every day, towels were changed constantly, which is not in every hotel. The view from the window as such was not, but we did not sit in the hotel ourselves. A confident wi-fi signal. They provide booking services for tours, taxis, washing, etc. Any question - and the guys will give a maximum to help. At the bottom, on the respiratory, there is a free tea\coffee\cooler with water. There are also tables where you can just sit in silence. There is everything you need in the room, even the refrigerator. I definitely recommend it!

I was on a business trip to Luang Prabang and it was recommended by a friend! I was thinking that I would just go on a business trip and since it was recommended by a friend, I would just go for it! After arriving at the hotel, I found that the hotel was really good and it was indeed worth recommending. The girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic and the hotel environment was very good. The room I stayed in had a swimming pool right outside the door, which I loved! And the swimming pool was very big and clean! It was a very comfortable accommodation experience! For business trips and travel, it is a very good choice, recommended!

It is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in over 30 years of travel. Without a doubt, the professional and charming staff helped a lot with the attention provided, and a service always above expectations. The facilities are impressive, nothing more beautiful than the central patio with the small pond and the garden, as well as the large common pool area, a 10! The breakfast has a high quality, a lot of variety on offer and they are always willing to prepare a more filling dish for you. The toast with avocado and poached egg is recommended, a great way to start the day.
We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days.
They should improve the Wi-Fi connection in that area of the hotel, given that we were barely able to connect in the room during the days we stayed. Having to work at some point, this represented a problem, which I quickly forgot with a dip in the pool.

The hotel is located in an alley next to the main street. It is a family-style villa. After the monks from Xiangtong Temple finish their almsgiving, they will pass by the hotel entrance on their way back (about 6:30), which is a good place to avoid the crowds on the main street to watch the almsgiving.
But the room we stayed in that day was on the first floor, close to the water tower. The water tower would hum when using water, even in the middle of the night. If you are afraid of noise, you can ask to move to the second floor room and tell the boss not to get close to the water tower.
The front desk staff has good English, can communicate well, and are very patient. If you ask them to help you book train tickets, you will be charged a service fee. The specific price will be calculated by the staff and charged per person. If you mind it, you can book it yourself at the high-speed rail station or online.

The guest house is well located a block back from the river and a few blocks from the night market (less than 10 mins walk). It’s in a quiet back street so no traffic noise. It’s all dark wood so a little squeaky as you move around and there is some noise from neighbouring rooms. The room was small with a balcony alongside your neighbours, that can be a downside if like us your neighbours have 4 little kids. All was very clean and the hot water worked ok. There’s a nice communal balcony with free coffee and use of a fridge. We slept okay but the mattress was quite uncomfortable. In the morning you can hear drumming from a nearby monastery at first light and also Alan starts shouting about 4am. Who’s Alan? He’s the talking cat. Very amusing during the day, but less so in the middle of the night! We stayed 4 nights and were happy enough but I felt it was a little expensive by Laos standards. We paid £23 per night and I’d say a fiver less would be more appropriate.

The pool is small but had lots of available comfy seating and was very clean.
Breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the service and food were excellent. The menu has lots of options.
Excellent service from reception to housekeeping - the complimentary water, fruit baskets and night time cookies were appreciated.
Free bicycle hire and reception can organise trips.
The location is okay, a 5-10 minute walk to the main area but that gives you an experience of local life as you pass through the narrow streets.
There was some road noise - motorbikes etc but im not sure where you can avoid this in Luang Prabang or even SE Asia. If you are bothered by it, ear plugs will be useful.
No noise from any neighbours.
The room was a good size with a big balcony overlooking the gardens. Lots of stuff provided e.g toiletries, safe, tea, 3 in 1 coffee - you don't need to bring. (Cant remember seeing a razor but tbh hotel ones are never good so i bring my own).
TIP: try not to rely on ATMs here, the charges are expensive. Either bring your own currency and exchange at one of the banks here (i got a good rate) or bring Kip. Many places also accept Thai baht and some US $.
The hotel has water so being mosquito spray (housekeeping also offered this).

GGuest UserThis hotel and Laos in general were a complete and utter positive surprise and experience. Booked last minute due to prior flight cancellations in Bangkok, this was a real treat.
From the moment we stepped in (prior to checkin time I’ll add) we were warmly greeted by the team with a lovely welcome beverage and a room upgrade with early checkin. Next the staff helped us arrange our entire 24h in Luang Prabang to ensure we maximised the trip, organising every detail from the driver to towels for the waterfalls.
The room was gorgeous, upstairs overlooking the pond with nice touches including free local beer. The bathroom was gorgeous with nice scented oil.
Breakfast was good.
Everything about this trip and hotel surpassed our expectations, especially for the price point. Highly highly recommend.

GGuest UserEnvironment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list.
Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip.
Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles.
Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

The boss is Chinese, and various services such as money exchange and travel consultation are very convenient. It is recommended that friends from China stay here. There is no language barrier and it is very convenient.

They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.

FF7686GNsallybDue to an unexpected situation, we were kindly moved from our original hotel to Villa Deux Rivieres where the management provided us with excellent, spacious accommodation overlooking the Nam Khan river. We were later moved to a different room which was also very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent as we were easily able to walk to the main shopping areas, temples and restaurants in this beautiful city. The villa is well set up for breakfast, and we enjoyed ours on the verandah overlooking the river. Although not all reception staff are fluent in English, they went out of their way to help us, especially with booking transport. We traveled to Laos in early December which was sunny and dry during the day but quite cold at night. If travelling at this time of year, consider packing a jumper and warm sleepwear. The villa organised to have laundry done for us - cheap and of a high standard.

The cleanliness is okay for room but public area and corridor quite dirty, for the first stay I found many cockroaches in my rooms #C5, water flood in the toilets and shower room, air conditioner is very noisy. I already report to the receptionist in the morning before check out. And need them to improve it and I book this hotel for my 2 nd stay because of the location and expect them to fix all the issues that I was report. After I check in for my 2nd stay, B7 , The rooms is better than C5, condition is okay but again the air conditioner very noisy and not cool enough. they some maintenance for the air -con.
