Adequately equipped and tastefully decorated rooms carved from an historical palace. Esquisitely professional and warm welcome. Gentle and thoughtful attention to guests. Very comfortable and spacious double bed. Excellent breakfast. In sum: highly recommended (though not for people with severe walking disabilities, since, as well known, a few steep steps are always a "must" in any such beautiful Italian palace).

Beautiful hotel in outstanding location in Lucca's historic center. My boyfriend & I stayed here while visiting friends in Lucca. Our room was comfortable and spacious and decorated with authentic period details. Marta is a kind and thoughtful host and laid out a delicious breakfast spread with cappuccino for us every morning. We will definitely stay there again on future visits.

A delightful hotel with excellent service in a great location. Couldn’t be better! Off street parking is available and easy to access. Our hosts provided excellent advice and really helped us after we arrived soaking from a very wet visit to Pisa.

Had a really enjoyable stay and Marta is the perfect host. The room was really comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Marta recommended some excellent restaurants close by and was very accommodating and switched our room when we had a slight problem with the first room we stayed in. Would certainly stay here again and would definitely recommend. Lovely stay.

We stayed here as we working close by the city. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The host was also amazing and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was classic continental and very tasty. The hotel is close to the northern side of the city walls and close to a couple of excellent bars and restaurants. If I ever stay in Lucca again I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the A Palazzo Busdraghi.

Great location off main dining, shopping avenue in Luca Centro. Ditch your car just inside the walls of this marvelous city and walk! Great European breakfast. Lovely, helpful hosts. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful holiday for the three days of Christmas. The beautiful room, heated, lots of space and all the things you need to experience every comfort, even a kettle with tea and coffee bags, a mini-bar, full! - First time in years! The manager, Marta, is an extraordinary and very kind hostess, we didn't miss anything. Comfortable bed, a breakfast for every taste, and especially the location - in the center of the most important shopping street in Lucca; Outside the gate there were all the Christmas lights and installations, particularly bright this year. Lucca remains open for all three days of Christmas, nothing is missing, I recommend a visit to the A Palazzo Busdraghi hotel every day of the year, fantastic!
