The newly opened (2023) Cargo88 Hotel is an 88-room hotel constructed from cargo containers. It's a 2-minute walk from Eastpark Mall where you can find stores, a big supermarket, money exchange shops, and many restaurants (try Fat Chef). The hotel is an easy walk to the Sunday Craft Market. A taxi to the airport will be around 250 ZMW (around USD 10) by Yango. An Indian firm designed the big, modern, and chic lobby. There is plenty of seating. Check-in was fast and efficient, and a welcome drink was provided. The standard room is comfortable but tiny. it has all the amenities you'd expect from a safe, slippers, and individual toiletries. The bathroom is tiny, with good hot water, and a rain shower, and the monogrammed fluffy towels were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable with outlets near the bed and free, fast, and reliable internet. The standard room is good for one person. The more expensive deluxe room is bigger and more suitable for a couple. There is a spa but no pool. The outdoor area is a good place to have a drink or see the sunset. The service is efficient, friendly, and top-notch. The buffet breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10. It has a limited selection of pastries, hot entrees, and fruit. Omelets are available on request. You should get there early because the buffet isn't replenished. Serving instant coffee was a total surprise for this caliber of hotel. There is an upcharge if you don't want instant coffee. Breakfast was a big disappointment in terms of variety and quality. Cargo88 is a unique modern, trendy hotel in a prime safe neighborhood, close to a mall. Even though the rooms are small (opt for a Deluxe Room), they are comfortable, and the service and staff are great. This hotel would be perfect for those who want to experience this unique hotel and are willing to pay a premium for it.

The breakfast is very rich, and the location is also good. It is diagonally opposite the east park, so it is very convenient for shopping and travel. Next to the conference center, if there is no traffic jam to the airport, it will take half an hour to forty minutes, probably, it is a relatively long hotel.

Natwange exudes natural beauty, accompanied by excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate with, providing great rooms in a clean environment. The surroundings are very safe, with reliable security measures. I look forward to returning here again.

Very good hotel, located fairly centrally in lusaka about 20 minutes from the airport. It's safe, the staff are exceptionally friendly, the breakfast was great and the restaurant/bar was also fantastic. There's a pool downstairs in the bar area which is perfect for lounging around and enjoying the Zambian skies. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Lusaka. The location is in the center, it is very convenient to go to Levy Mall, banks, government offices, etc. Great lobby and restaurant (tried the lamb stew). The rooms are on the small side and could use a little more decor, but overall ok. The hallway carpets were stained and needed replacing. The staff were very friendly and helpful in getting around Lusaka.

SIMPLY OUTSTANDING is how I would describe my first-ever incredible experience to the Ciela Resort in Lusaka, Zambia during my visit from 10 Sept – 14 Sept. I can’t say enough about the absolute professionalism and hospitality of every employee we ran into. Their smiles and courteous engagement(s) were first class all the way! The dining & food quality was indeed something to positively remember. I must give special kudos to the superb manager – Mr. Andries Brink. His exceptional performance for making guests feel like they’re family was most impressive. He personally went out of his way to ensure (at minimum) that I and eight other colleagues were taken care of as our luggage was lost by the airlines for the entire time we were visiting. Andries took us to obtain clothing items, sundries, and anything else we needed. Additionally, he stayed actively involved / connected with the various airlines and retrieving our luggage from the airport when it showed up and bringing it back to us. Mr. Brinks (and team) truly deserve the highest hospitality award that can be bestowed on an organization. They singlehandedly ensured that I would remain a loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer and will brag about this sincere experience with many other high-profile leaders I commensurate with.
