The quality of breakfast was the best.
The cleanliness of the accommodation was also perfect.

It didn't go as I thought. I first booked through the trip.com app. Then when I arrived at the hotel they told me that my reservation had been moved to another lower category hotel without explanation. When I arrived at the other hotel Hotel de Fraincais they told me that there was a room in my name but evidently the hotel category was not the same. I then ask for information on the rate and they tell me that they have applied a reduced rate. It's fine too, but the rooms are different from the one I had chosen and the price paid is not worth the hole received. Terrible result I would say. Pay attention to your reservations and always ask the property for confirmation.

This hotel is in the heart of the city. A short walking distance from all types of eateries, churches and a walk along the water. Busses and street cars are free. Taxis’s are a bit expensive. Our taxi to the airport was approximately $60 US dollars. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The breakfast had lots to choose from. Soap, lotion and shampoo/conditioner are in the bathroom. Two complementary bottles of water can be found in the refrigerator. There is a safe. This is a more modern hotel so we were surprised to find no outlets near the bed or on the night stands. There was an outlet by the door and a couple on top of the desk but again none near the head of the bed.

Zakelijke houding bij ontvangst. Een mevrouw was vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij wifi instelling. Verder summiere instructie voor tv die vervolgens niet aangesloten blijkt op kabelnet. Gemeld, geen hoge prioriteit, maar ook niet opgelost. Lekkage van onder de douchebak, 2e dag gemeld. Irritant en gevaarlijk als je het niet opmerkt bij 'uitstappen' uit de douche. Na 1e nacht geen schoonmaak van de kamer gezien. Na 3 nachten en ontbijt is het duidelijk. Er is geen interesse in de gast. Lawaai in ontbijtzaal door luidruchtig afruimen van de tafels en aanvullen van servies en bestek etc. De kamer zelf is clean maar een stoel en een kruk aan een sidetable is toch echt te minimaal om eens een uurtje op de kamer te verblijven. De locatie is prima, maar er zijn meer hotels nabij.

This hotel was well located but staff from front desk to maintenance to management were AWFUL!!!! Avoid at all cost- they barely were able to offer service and lied regarding broke. Or malfunctioning air conditioning in our room- they did move us after several so called attempts to repair the ac and tried to ask us to move all our luggage to the new room and made no attempt to adjust the rate as a result of this MAJOR INCONVENIENCE AND TRAVEL DISRUPTION!!!

Great location and friendly staff. Our room was clean and the hotel breakfast was great with lots of offerings. Highly recommend the hotel and I would come back and stay here again.
