Simple budget friendly 3 star hotel comfortable enough for family of 3 provided with King and single bed.. 15-20mins walk to Mahkota Parade etc.. pool on rooftop 👍🏼

The staffs were super friendly and helpful, also got a total of 3 malls literally across and beside the hotel. The location is really super near to Jonker street 10-15 mins walk away. The room was really clean and had no smell. Had a nice view. However the aircon took around 30 mins to ‘warm up’ before I could feel the wind of the aircon. The sound proofing of the room wasn’t that good as I could hear my neighbours. The breakfast wasn’t really fantastic. Due to crowd, food weren’t refill on time. I went at 8:30am, got quite a lot of trays empty and food was cold. The second day I went at 7:30am it was much better as in not as many trays empty compared to the first day. But around 7:30 am already got quite a lot of people. So if you would like to have more variety and hot food, do come earlier.

For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.

Actually this is a nice hotel. Just that the amenities surrounding is run down making the hotel less appealing especially have to walk past those empty shop lots. And car park is on different side. Hotel wise, it’s pretty good. Good hot shower, clean toilet and linen. Bed and pillow are comfortable. The design, if properly showcased is already pretty good. Such a pity. But I’d still come back here if I needed a night stay.

The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .

Good things: Friendly receptionist. Fast check in/out. Variety foods for breakfast. Easy parking access. Large swimming pool. Easy access to shopping mall. Large balcony. Tv well functioned - can watch all channel. Nearby water taxi jetty. Meh things: Corridor (where my room located) - dirty (lots of seems like pieces of tissues on carpets. Bath tub not well function (water still running out after the stopper push in). Lots of crows at swimming area (level 9) - making noise.

A good hotel for stay nearer to the tourist spots. Room is average with basic amenities provided. My room was not occupied with the laundry bag. It just a small cheap plastic basket. I guess for multi use. For breakfast, please come early as this is tourist hotel and you will see guests as early as 7.05am having their breakfast. Otherwise no seats for you.!Overall nothing WOW for me and it just an average experience. I saw the table cleaner clean the table using spray cleaning without taking out the spoon and fork on the table. Be mindful to wipe your cutleries before use.
