The room was dimly lit and very small, the bathroom was clean. The soundproofing was poor, and we were woken up early when we left for the pier early in the morning.

What a nice hotel, perfect location. Bfast was lovely and staff great. Dinner was great until a large group came into the restaurant. Not the hotels fault but reined the romantic atmosphere. Amazing views from the restaurant ! Bedding was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The only tiny issue I had was the menu showing in the lobby was different than provided in the restaurant

The hotel has a huge bar with great staff and a restaurant. The room was small and simple, the bathroom had a bath with a shower attachment, ample parking on site, wifi that worked well. The ferry to Skye is a five minute drive. The petrol station is also five minutes away - but has very odd daytime only hours. The railway station is a downhill walk away. Mallaig is small with lovely views of Skye to the west, very photogenic with the sun setting behind it. The hotel dinner menu was a little unimaginative in my opinion. Staff were good.

Having had THE most stressful time ever with the Calmac ferries from Mallaig, we couldn't believe how nice this hotel was. VERY decent room with excellent food and friendly service. Their Gluten free menu was also very good, (they have a separate chip frier and very good those chips were too) which cannot be said of every highland hotel!

We splashed out on our last two nights of our tour of the Highlands and Islands tour. Situated not far from the Ferry Terminal this hotel has ample parking space. The ground floor Kings Suite was palatial with large bathroom and a balcony overlooking the Islands of Eigg and Rum. Unfortunately the temperature outside put pay to sitting out on the balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly throughout. Good Wifi available. A excellent buffet Breakfast available with a good selection of goodies available to cater for all needs. Unlimited Coffee available, which always gets more brownie points from me. The lounge bar is very spacious with a good choice of draft Ales and Spirits. There is a large outside sitting area with superb views over the water. We ate out at the Chlachain Inn which was just down the hill from the Hotel on Davies Brae. Good selection of fare to be had there served up by pleasant staff. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

An excellent spacious room with an amazing view. The evening meal was excellent and the hotel even set up a 'Fan-zone' to watch the Euro 2024 Final. The hotel had a lovely 'established' feel to it but with all the facilities that we would expect.

Everything about this hotel is just great. We stayed for one night as we were catching a ferry from Mallaig. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and it had all the facilities such as tea coffee, in the room. The location is perfect, just a stroll down the hill to the shops, cafes and restaurants. All the food w had was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant, Greek salad and a Caesar salad. There was plenty of choice at breakfast too. All the staff were friendly and welcoming too. Next time we sail from Mallaig we will be staying here.

Mooi hotel op een mooie locatie! Mooie kamer, wat aan de kleine kant (ook de badkamer), netjes en schoon. Heel blij met het uitzicht, prachtig! Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt prima. Geen lift aanwezig! En ook om bij het hotel te komen moet je trappen op. Verschillende mensen gezien die minder goed ter been waren en moeite hadden de trappen te beklimmen. Personeel kan wel je bagage naar boven brengen, dat boden ze ook aan.

Stayed for one night at this lovely hotel. We had a jacuzzi room overlooking the sea, it was stunning. We are in the restaurant, service was a little slower than it should have been but once we received our dinner it was delicious. The only negative (not the hotels fault) the seagulls in the rear car park were atrocious and for the first time in my life I was attacked for merely walking past them. All in all, a stunning venue, can’t wait to come back. Thank you.
