Motel 6 Manchester, TN

Booked a room this evening. We were almost able to look past the black mold and police presence, but the blood on the chair was too much. We left and called to ask for a refund. The man working accused me of lying— like trying to find another hotel at 12:30 in the morning is somehow fun for me. This is unacceptable.

The room itself was a room…hair clumps in shower and not a detailed clean. Okay for a short stay. There was actually a mini fridge in our room. Front desk is very rude and the grounds is a mess. It doesn’t feel safe. There are guests setting off fireworks, drinking and loud in the parking lot late at night.

This Motel 6 seems to be run by a young couple. They have clearly worked hard to make improvements on the property and were attentive to my needs. They don't open the front desk in the morning, but the gentleman was very prompt answering the service button at the Night Window.

Came here late at night due to unexpected reason. When I arrived there is already someone waiting to check us in. Room is clean and cozy. Personally me and my mom enjoy the firm bedding and both of us had a sound sleep. Definitely a nice place to get some rest when traveling along interstate 24.

Comfortable. Everyone helped with no problems . From the front desk to the on hand maintenance worker. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends with no doubt on their stay

This is the absolute worse place do not stay here ! The owner Sam threatened me with violence after he rented me a room with no tv or towels only a sheet on the bed and no end tables it was like being in a jail cell ! When I asked him for towels he gave me one ! Then I asked if he could fix the tv I sat there for a hour nobody came! I went back and he said that he doesn’t have a staff at night! So he would give me a refund! When I asked for a receipt he go Angry and threatened to kick my @$& !!! . I called tho police and they said they come here all the time . He is known for this kind of conduct!!! I probably will never see a refund called the corporate number and they are not open! Tom Bodien would be rolling over in his grave ! ImThis guy should be arrested for ripping off innocent people!! Do not stay here!!

Do NOT STAY!!!!!! Do not! Super gross. Filthy, filthy place. Bed shirts are very dirty and stained. Checked in at 7pm to no towels of any kind in the room. Was told by a lady it would be 2.5 hours before I could get towels. After traveling for 14 hours I wanted a hot shower and to wash my face. Then turned on the tv, it’s not working. Just pass, it’s terrible. Shouldn’t even pass health code.

The place is terrible. I paid cash for the first week. The second week the manager charged my card for a different rate than we agreed to. It took 10 days to get my refund. He charged me a 250 deposit for a refrigerator. I still haven’t got a refund on that. I checked out 8 days ago. No Wi-Fi. Just a bed in a room. If you stay over 3 days you are considered long term. You don’t get towels or any housekeeping. There’s a lot of other motels in the area. I would steer clear of this one.

I had paid for 2 rooms the prior day, making the reservation through the central reservation phone number for the Motel 6 chain for their Manchester, Tennessee location. I gave them my credit card numbers and I was advised that if I did not show, I would still be charged for my rooms. No worries. That was perfectly acceptable. And I advised them that we would be arriving about two in the morning since we had a long drive. When we arrived, tired but happy that our multiple hour drive was now over we were stunned that the Motel 6 had over booked and gave our rooms away. My family and I then had nowhere to stay. We ended up driving all night after that fiasco. At the Motel 6, instead of being apologetic, the overnight property manager walked away from the overnight window around a corner where he could not be seen. The lights went out. I cannot believe that this place could be so rude. Truly unbelievable. I phoned Motel 6 corporate as we drove away frome the now darkened area. Corporate told me that my reservation had been canceled at the very time we were checking in. Since these folks were franchisees they could do nothing to help us. If I could give them zero stars I would do so. STAY AWAY from this place. A reservation means nothing and they are beyond rude. No apologies. Just turn the lights off on the waiting patrons. I know that one motel is not indicative of others in the chain, but my family is finished with this chain.
