Staying in sogo hotel avenida was really amazing because it is just near to quiapo church easy to go for attend mass and easy to reach hotel by LRT and Jeep and bus. Hotel is clean really room is safe and clean and service offered by hotel is really good and within few minutes service will be on your door once you dialed 0 . You can get massage just a call to front desk and foods are good and hotel staff when they will see you they will bow to you and they will proper address this is the way their to respect for you. My staycation in sogo hotel avenida was really best and it happened because of trip. com, I really appreciate for being a good chance to enjoy my vacation.

In the central area of ​​Chinatown, there is a large shopping mall opposite, which is convenient for eating and shopping. There are many churches, museums and other cultural landscapes nearby. I got to stay here because I'm ordered to follow protocol entering the country. I have to be quarantined for couple of days. However, I encountered couple of issues that I think I need to address with. 1. When my flight was cancelled I wasn't given the opportunity to reschedule my date of arrival. Imagine how exhausting it is after a long flight to call agency after agency to get another connecting flights. I had to call to reschedule/cancel swab testing coz of the cancelled flight. I had to call the hotel in manila (RedDoorz near Quiapo Church) to bypass and to consider rescheduling the date of my arrival because it was so hard to get connected with an agent over the phone but it wasn't granted. So I ended up paying a night of a room without even staying in there. 2. The front desk who checked me in was rude, not even helpful at all. I asked her when I checked in if there's a WIFI. She said its in the back of my key. When I got to my room. I checked the back of my key. It's a combination of number. I know I'm not blind but it never goes through. I called her and she said that's the only password she could give me. I called her again in an hour and she keeps saying the same thing so I gave up since its 2 in the morning and I just decided to fix everything tomorrow when I wake up. 3. I called the front desk about the same issue from the evening. They said the WIFI password is only located at the back of my room key. And they said they will try to look for something else and will call me back. 2 hours passed nobody called me. I had to go downstairs regardless I'm on 'quarantine' because no one seems to be helpful at all. Caught them laughing and chitchatting in the lobby when I'm struggling to get access to WIFI to settle some things to do with appointments etc. A nice lady came to my room and help me access the WIFI. It was quick. I asked her how she did it, She said there's a different WIFI password the management just happen to change it long ago and the password at the back of my key is so outdated. So I was speechless. From the night to the afternoon I was told the same thing that it was just at the back of the key. 4. I noticed 2 small cockroaches in my room which I don't really find it disturbing but for a business a running a hotel its a big NO NO NO. 5. My second night was horrifying. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt something was crawling in my back. I was too tired and sleepy to care for it. About a couple of minutes my oranges that was just sitting in the table fell out from the plastic bag. I find it strange but I was damn tired. Later this morning I found out that there's a rat bite in my orange, my cheez whiz and even the soap that I placed in the bathroom sink had a bite on it. I called the FD and someone came in to my room. I was shocked to be asked by a guard to check if there's a visible hole anywhere in my room. He told me that how would a rat came in to my room when its all closed. I'm assuming he is not think

Unfortunately, it makes too much noise from the street. If you are a foreigner and need to go to the airport like us, it is not highly recommended because it is very far from the center and the airport although it is close to a metro station. It is very neat, they give you shampoo, towels and soap but the location is not very touristy and the noise is too loud.

The Hotel is descently nearby 168 mall, Divisoria etc. The hotel had a nice lobby, Elevator with literally rugs that changed to Monday to Sunday, Altough the rooms are good, I really hate the bathroom, The shower looks like someone spit on it, and the smell. smells alot like watermelon frost and urine. yuck, well at least it did have a third party television which show fav movies like wonder woman or I dont know, Beauty and the beast, the rest are chinese stuff. All I say is, its a good and bad mall. nothing perfect. also, it was formerly Binondo suites, And its much MUCH, better than this hotel.

Stayed on this hotel for one night and we love it. Loved the breakfast buffet so much. I suggest arriving early in the hotel for check-in as there is long lines and it takes us almost 2hrs before we can get to our room even though this is a reserved booking but all in all smooth stay no problems encountered aside from the check-in. It's also good that there are not so much restrictions for example we can go out of the hotel at night or bring outside foods.

The Savoy Hotel Manila had an excellent location and was within walking distance from the local airport and around 10-15 mins taxi from the international airport. The pool on level 2 is under shelter but partly outdoors. Swamped with children and families, so if you’re looking for peace and quiet or travelling with adult friends, perhaps think of another hotel to book. Clean, tidy and basic facilities and rooms were fairly small. Worked for us as we only required a 1-night stay before transitioning with an early morning flight!

We recently stayed here and celebrated our Birthday and Wedding Anniversary and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism was outstanding. We truly appreciate Mr. Jason (pool area attendant) for taking care of us and offering drinks even though we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We also commend Ms. Marivic and her team, especially their dining area supervisor, for serving our food. Special mention to Ms. Sheila, who serenaded us during dinner. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and offered stunning views. Every interaction with the staff left a positive impression, making our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch service and welcoming a**osphere.
