This hotel is certainly not 5* I’d go as far as 31/2 4 at a push. On arrival we were charged tourist tax at a cost of £105 English pounds. We were given a print out of meal times, dos and don’ts then taken to our room. No map or explanation to show us where things were. We had to navigate that ourselves or ask other holiday makers. We had a big spacious room we paid for a premium room. Not quite the premium rooms I’ve had in other 5* hotels I’ve visited around the world. There was no in room mini bar just an empty fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and two bottles of water. After speaking with other guests it seems that’s what I’ve paid premium price for a kettle and coffee sachets. Absolutely shocking! Our room over looks the restaurant and social gathering area meaning you do not get any privacy on the balcony as the guests often look up and stare at you. Also the bbq smoke fills the room when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction. Restaurant… this place is a joke the best meal of the day is lunchtime. If you have a fussy eater that’s the only time you will find chips and nuggets. Pasta and pizza are available daily at both lunch and dinner. Dinner time tends to be everything Moroccan/french. Everything is dished out for you by serving staff and if you request more than one serving you are frowned upon and questioned. You are made to feel greedy by the serving staff. Certain things are one per person. I fully get avoiding food waste but to limit the amount you can have is diabolical. Drinks are served out of bottles meaning you can be served flat fizzy drinks throughout the day. Prosecco is not included in the ai and is charged at 500 Moroccan dirham £42 in English money. Every 5* I’ve been to has had Prosecco included even at breakfast. Ice creams are also charged extra. Pool and aqua park… towels are chargeable but you get that back at the end of your stay. Plenty of sun loungers around both pools and the water park. Water in big pool and water park is absolutely freezing and the heated one isn’t much warmer. Slides are determined by your weight so if your over 80kg you can’t ride & if you under 50kg you can’t ride some slides. The lazy river there is that lazy it don’t go round you have to walk it! Inflatables for the slides are minimal and you have to wait for them. 4 singles and 1 double were out for our entire stay here. Flies are a big problem here, constantly landing on you and food that is being prepared outside. Those foods that are being prepared outside are left out and some uncovered for you to eat! I sat and witnessed it myself. Bar in the aqua park only serves water or fruit juice at times. There is another place in there where you can buy cans of pop and food. There’s really not much to do in the evening with children over mini disco age the games room 1 pool table and 3 football tables and only 1 works all incur extra charges. This place shuts at 10pm on the dot! The main bar also shuts at 11pm on
