Tigmiza Boutique Hotel & Spa

Tigmiza is one of the most beautiful hotels we have been to . A 20 minute retreat from the centre. All the staff are kind and welcoming. We stayed in a villa which was beyond belief, 2 floor home with its own pool and luxurious amenities. Very calm and relaxing after a day in the city The food was excellent and the spa is a must Special thanks to Niama and Sihame for a wonderful treatment. We will definitely return Thank you all for the most relaxing stay

The hotel promises lots visually and with respect to food and services. The highlight with respect to service was Aissam who provided great and consistent service wherever and whenever we encountered him; the hotel should be using him to train others. The room was spacious and pretty. Unfortunately on day 5 we woke up to an ants and cockroach in the bathroom and bedroom. It was handled swiftly with someone attending to clean and then fill a hole between the skirting and wall which did resolve the issue. We did attempt to use hotel transportation on 3 occasions and was promised it was booked. Alas this only manifest correctly on one trip. Local taxi drivers did provide assistance but the way of managing this was to say it was booked and the person who booked it was not on site. We did receive a free one way trip as compensation. The food and drink offerings were average. Of all the meal choices the pool bar and breakfast did, in my opinion, deliver what it promised. During dinner one evening I discovered a partly grated 1” piece of ginger root in a pastilla. The staff apologised and provided dessert ( free) even though we had indicated we did not want dessert. Overall I would say the staff wanted to do the right thing but were not empowered to respond to situations as they occurred and were often left, so we were advised, without management support.

Absolutely spot on hotel . The grounds are so beautiful, staff friendly , rooms Beautiful. Loved the cocktails at the pool bar and the yoga studio is stunning . The hotel is about 20 mins outside of main area of Marrakech but that suited us as it’s mad there . Loved the lagoon pool . Omelettes are banging at breakfast . The hotel even has a private cinema ! 5 star stay in a Small Hotel felt special . Thank you tigmiza !

We stayed here for our honeymoon in June 2024. We arrived late at night and were pleasantly surprised to have a very warm welcome and to be told we were being upgraded (Perks of the honeymoon I guess!) to a 2 bedroom villa with a pool. This meant the accommodation way surpassed our expectations. The room itself is comfortable, clean, well air conditioned and incredibly spacious. The service level was very hit and miss. The restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent but the reception staff not speaking good English is simply not okay. Shout out to Lamia (Head of Reception & Concierge) for arranging everything for us and saving the day here! Spa service was excellent. We booked a couples massage for 60 minutes and it was one of the best massages we've ever had. So good, in fact, we got it again on our final day. The problem with this hotel is the food. Based on the food alone, I would never come back here. The food selection, choice, menu design and quality needs to change drastically as soon as possible. Breakfast is fine. Solid selection, fresh croissants and omelettes! This hotel is a solid 30 minutes away from any suitable restaurants. This means (if you are a couple like us on your honeymoon) if you want to eat at the hotel to relax, you will be disappointed. I didn't eat one thing for lunch or dinner that didn't wholeheartedly disappoint me. There is also no flexibility in the choices - a tuna club sandwich on the menu cannot under any circumstances be substituted for chicken - I find this incredibly odd. The food is bland, not thought out and poor in quality. For a 5 star boutique hotel, this is not acceptable. Overall, a good experience, heavily marred by poor food. This place could be an absolute gem, but it falls short.

I was completely captivated by this intimate boutique hotel. The staff's kindness and professionalism made my stay exceptional. The hotel's charm and ambiance created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. I'm already planning my next visit!!
