The location of the hotel is very good. Just next to the old port. Take a boat to Ile Ife, the dock at Calanque is right opposite. Also close to Galeries Lafayette and supermarket. Just outside the door is the subway station. It takes 2 subway stops to the train station and takes 15 minutes. But the carpets in the public areas of the hotel were extremely dirty. It seems that it has not been taken care of for a long time, and it has accumulated a thick layer of dust. Breakfast looked average. And the most annoying thing is that you can't check in early at all. I arrived around 12 o'clock, and my mother ☺️ waited stupidly in the hotel lobby until after 3 o'clock before I could check in. It is said that the owner is Jewish and only employs a small number of cleaning staff. 😤

We had a lovely stay here. It’s in an ideal position being right next to the metro and port. We had breakfast with our stay and it was very good. The hotel is very quiet which we appreciated. All the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. The young girl with long dark hair who served breakfast was lovely. We had an issue with the safe one evening in that it would not open and we had to wait till the next morning for it to be opened. The night porter did try for us 😊 I’m glad it wasn’t the night before we were leaving though as that would have been a big problem. The lady whose been there for 25 years opened it for us . Room 510

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. You can't check in until 3pm, no matter what - even if your flight arrives at 9am in the morning, so be aware that they will need to hold your bags if you wish to drop them off. Staff was very friendly, but right at 3pm, everyone arrives to check in and the wait can take a little time. Our room was pretty small, but had a little kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was basically of a run-down apartment building in the back of the property (depressing). We fortunately had a good nights rest with very little noise. There's a Nespresso machine in the room and you can buy pods at the front desk. The location is walkable to many tourist shops and restaurants right in Old Port. The room appeared to be clean, but a bit run down. I would suggest a one night's stay if needed, but to stay longer might cramp your style if you wish for something a bit more roomy and charming. Overall, good stay and a good place for walking around Old Port and surrounding neighborhoods.

The surrounding area is well-developed, and you can sample a variety of seafood and French breakfast when you go out. The hotel is facing the old port, the distant Notre Dame is clearly visible, no curtains at night, watching the lights of the Notre Dame sleep, do not have a taste. The room has a room dedicated to children, and the decoration is warm. Whether you are taking a sightseeing bus, going to the subway, or visiting the Old Port Market, it is very convenient. Especially recommended!

This is a fantastic wee hotel. Firstly, the location is right on the Vieux Port. The views are gorgeous, and the nightly rate is reasonable bearing this in mind. The staff are one of the hotel's greatest assets - dedicated to excellent customer service, cheerful and friendly. I felt unwell in the 35 degree heat on the day of our check-in and they allowed me to check in 2 hours early free of charge. They took our cases on the day of departure to allow us to sightsee. The wee bar and restaurant are quirky and a huge asset to the hotel. I would go back in a second. Thank you, Belle-Vue Vieux-Port. from Joanna and Davie, the Scottish couple!

Positive: Central and quiet hotel (although something difficult to find). The small room was conveniently furnished, comfortable bed. Negative: Moon prices for a budget hotel! Since I paid a supposedly cheaper price online, there was no room cleaning. So I was allowed to take my waste out by my own hand. At least after a few days stay, at least nothing happened to exchange the towels. I was confident that the room was cleaned next day. Then I extended my stay. No cleaning was done and also wanted to get me off the evil in asking for a 33% higher price. Price performance is not suitable here. Unsympathetic unprofessional staff.

InterContinental Marseille-Hôtel Dieu is a luxury hotel located in Marseille’s historic Panier district. Overlooking the Vieux Port, our hotel’s massive staircases and magnificent terraces bear witness to the former statues of the building, an 18th century structure inaugurated by Napoleon III. Relax on the terrace with views of Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, dine at Michelin-starred restaurant, Alcyone. Rejuvenate with a swim at the indoor pool or a treatment at the chic SPA by Clarins.

Excellent
GGuest UserReally nice! I loved how you can have your own space by closing the curtain. The beds didn't make any noise or movements when you climb into the upper bed. Maybe a small improvement: sign for where the reception/checkin is or some arrows. Overall had a nice stay, very cozy place and clean and good working services
GGuest UserAlthough our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.
AAlbert5433This was a lovely hotel to stay at. I booked a room with a large terrace overlooking the port and the view was fantastic. I could have sat all day watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor. The room was spacious and well kept. The employees were very nice and helpful even as I practiced my French on them. The breakfast was quite special. It is served in a beautiful , light-filled room, again, with views of the port. You could sit inside or outside and the weather was beautiful while I was there in early June. The breakfast had many many choices, breads of all kinds, hot choices (such as bacon, eggs, sausages, petite potatoes, vegetables), cold cuts, many cheeses, several dessert options also. Really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel and wish I had stayed longer.
GGuest UserWhat makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.
GGuest UserThe breakfast is delicious, the location is very good, the service is very good, there is free refreshments, apples can be taken, and the pier is just a few minutes walk. There are many shops nearby, and places to eat, and it is also close to Shanghai Kitchen and Dahua Hotel. This is very cost-effective, because Ridisson members have no way to set points in Ctrip.
GGuest UserLocation wise the hotel is just two or three minutes walk from the Colbert Metro Station or maybe 14 minutes walk from the main St Charles railway station. It is also only about five to seven minutes walk from the main tourist area down by the port. Obviously not the fault of the hotel but the street it is on it heavy with graffiti, there was smell of urine and hobos sleeping nearby. That might sound nasty, but it's just a fact. Check-in was simple and quick and the lobby is OK if you like looking at a piano covered in faux graffiti. All rather tacky and blingy looking. Bedroom was OK if you like decor in purple and vinyl light blue covered chairs in your room. No proper desk for computer use although you can use a small table and stool. Wifi connection was good. Air-conditioning worked. Bathroom acceptable although the 'open' toilet brush holder could surely be improved upon. Hairdryer provided but you can't use it in the bathroom as there is no plug point for a hair dryer. It can however be used in the hallway. Carpet was dirty. I thought at first it was maybe just our room but upon stepping out into the corridor there was dirt and dust everywhere, especially along the sides by the skirting boards. The cleaners main corridor door was often left open letting guests see inside the cleaners store room area. Breakfast was good. In fact, most of it was better than good. Comprehensive selection of breads and croissants/pastries, cheeses, hams, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, coffee machines and scrambled egg. The fallafel was also a great thing which I hadn't expected. Not so good were the burnt sausages and the very fatty/oily streaky bacon each morning. But overall, a good variety and enjoyable. Would we return? Probably not. The hotel really needs to do something to clean the carpets in the corridors properly and to get new toilet brush holders in the rooms. Very off-putting.
MMarie odileDecent hotel for a 3 star located near the Perrier metro station, a City crossroads right next to 7/7. The place is clean but not perfect (the corners are not done) small kitchen area with mismatched dishes, kettle but no coffee machine. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are well heated. Staff available
MMair DStayed in this hotel in June 22. Have to admit that my first impression was student halls but we adapted well. The apartment was small but very clean. We had one bedroom but only big enough to house twin beds and a bedside table and a lamp. The beds were very comfortable. There was a separate toilet and a small bathroom with a over bath shower. I first thought that the bath was not clean but it was just here the enamel had worn away. There was a small kitchenette with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. We didn’t use it except for tea and coffee as we had B&B which was good the lady in the dining room was very friendly and was happy to help. We ate out for dinner. There is a table and chairs and a sofa bed in the living area plus a tv. The balcony was big and facing the sea which was nice with lovely views over the bay. There were patio table and chairs. If you are staying less than 8 days you won’t get room service but will provide it at an extra cost. There is a free safe deposit in all rooms. I think this is because of covid. There is free WiFi and a safety deposit box. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception at no cost if you ask. Reception were ok but didn’t speak much English but we were in France after all so got by. The pool is small but nice the only thing is that there is no seating around the pool. Most people were just sitting on the decking on towels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing is that it was not Sandy but stony and gritty not good for making sand castles. There are no sun beds or parasols to hire, and very little shade. There is a Sandy beach further down the bay about 10 mins walk. There are restaurants close by but also more on the Sandy beach which is lovely. Also a good supermarket near too. You can get a bus into the city on the road next to the hotel the No 83 is €2 per person each way along the coast to the marina. I have to say that the external walls of the hotel need to be tidied up they look very tired. A lick of paint is needed badly, and maybe the rooms brought up to date a little. Maybe the hotel group could invest some funds into doing this. All in all we had a good stay but it could have been better. Thank you to all staff the made our stay comfortable.
GGuest UserGreat welcome, lovely people! Super room-apartment there was everything, beyond expectations! Location at the top and not very noisy, I have nothing to say, except that it's very good!
