Really nice! I loved how you can have your own space by closing the curtain. The beds didn't make any noise or movements when you climb into the upper bed. Maybe a small improvement: sign for where the reception/checkin is or some arrows. Overall had a nice stay, very cozy place and clean and good working services

Very good hotel. The room was clean, fairly large and well furnished. We had a view of the city. There was a walk-in shower that was quite modern and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The reception staff was quite helpful. The breakfast is not worth the price, in my opinion. Although fair for the amount of food provided, this looked not particularly typical of France and M****ille, especially for the cakes and croissants that were nothing special in honesty. Further, I personally do not like to get coffee from automated machines in hotels as they can taste rather watery, especially if going for a decaf option, plus there is no way to get a cappuccino done with non diary milk alternatives. Given that there are a number of local patisseries, boulangeries, local cafés and even a Starbucks coffee at walking distance from the hotel, there are plenty of alternatives, some of which offer experience of local taste for the same price or less. Hotel location is fantastic, as stated above very central, in a relatively safe area, at a short walk from main attractions, cafés, great restaurants, and just behind ”le panier”, and 10 mins walk to the port vieux.

Went for a long weekend to see the city and it’s history, really enjoyed our time, 3 days was plenty to see everything. The hotel was in a fantastic location, right near the Metro. Everyone was friendly in the hotel, and spoke English very well which was useful as our French isn’t great. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, also the deposit was paid back straight away on the same day in full. Highly recommend.

Although our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.

Location was fantastic , just opposite m****ille Saint Charles station . Checkin staff was friendly. the supermarket was just next door making it very convenient.

First, the hotel is just outside the station- less than 2 minutes walk. second, the entry into the hotel is as seen in the pix. little walk through and people sitting and enjoying the silence. lobby is friendly and welcoming. there is restaurant inside with lively TV/music. receptionists are welcoming and checkin was fast. nice corridors on the 2nd floor and the room for three was spacious. a sofa cum bed was comfortable. window overlooking the parking lot. gives privacy. from the hotel one can take a metro ticket 5.20 euros for 24 hours and go anywhere. the breakfast is part in restaurant and outdoors - the latter is heavenly. little fruit and vegetable plants. very good fair- detox water, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice you can make for self,...good for vegetarians too. would recommend to everyone. only positives for this hotel and it is well priced. in night one can jsut sit in open and enjoy the silence. Go for it.

What makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.

It was super cool, I appreciated the only downside for parking and the parking lot was full but I recommend

It is not a hotel but an aparthotel-type residence and there was no room cleaning service. When I went to ask they told me that cleaning was only done every 4 days and since we were 3, no one did the room or the bathroom during our stay. They offered me cleaning products so I could clean it myself. I was stunned. They didn't even have a bottle of cold water and it was very hot. The receptionists are very unprofessional. The breakfast was very complete but there was no toaster. I do not recommend at all. And they say they have 4 stars.

The hotel itself was ok. And the breakfast spread was quite nice. But a couple of problems: when we got to the room there was no toilet paper (or facial tissues). We picked some TP up from the front desk. Then when we went out, we put the “do not disturb” sign out. They came in anyway and remade the bed, but still didn’t bring any facial tissues. But the worst thing is we scheduled a shuttle to the nearby Vitrolles train station for 8:40. The train on Sat comes once an hour, so should have been plenty of time to catch the 9am train. Well the shuttle didn’t show up until about 8:54, and we missed the train. Tue annoying thing is I asked the front desk lady when the shuttle would arrive and she told me two minutes. If it had really been two minutes we would have made it. Or if she told me it would be late we could have walked (it’s like a 10- minute walk). Instead I’m sitting here waiting for an hour for the next train, so I figured I would write a review with all this extra time…
