I booked a night directly from the site. The description of the structure and the room is absolutely true to the reality. A minimum furnishing with recovery materials perfectly combined with some color notes that make the environment comfortable. The structure is two steps from the centre. Parking is available both free and free. I asked for the tour with Apecalessino and Martina (I hope I remembered the name correctly) worked to find a renter immediately. So, generally excellent experience, absolutely to be advised. Just two things to my modest opinion to improve: 1) cleaning the balcony 2) the furniture of coffee pots. Three are few, perhaps for additional even payable.

Very clean, tidy and good location!
Livingstone B&B

Despite its very high rating, as well as the numerous positive comments about owner/hostess Miriam, our stay at Livingstone B&B in Matera greatly exceeded my wife's & my expectations during our two night stay in June 2024. There are three individual guest rooms (we saw all three, and each one is massive, especially when compared to hotel rooms in Italy) with ensuite bathrooms. Our room, New York (the other two are London and Paris), was on the top floor of the apartment, so we enjoyed privacy and solitude, plus the added bonus of a private balcony area, complete with a sun lounger. Livingstone is bright, modern, and impeccably clean. Miriam obviously takes great pride in Livingstone, and is certainly passionate about providing the absolute best experience possible for each and every guest. The photos are 100% accurate, and reflect what you see and experience when staying at Livingstone. Livingstone is conveniently located less than a three minute walk (two right turns, then down the hill) to the town square, where you'll enjoy magnificent views down to the Old Town historic area of Matera. If ever my wife & I return to Matera, we will absolutely definitely stay at Livingstone again.

Sassi di Matera
The place was perfect: central, close to nice restaurants and bars, well decorated, nice staff, great SPA (worth the 25 EUR fee to access it!) and what a great breakfast buffet! Do choose the suites, they really are worth the extra price. They were all booked for our second night and so we had to move to a standard room and it wasn’t as great.

In the reception offer of Matera, which has not yet been particularly developed, it is certainly a very valid option to consider if there is no absolute need to stay in Saxony, of which the distance is really small as it is preferable to approach one of the parkings for payment (e.g. Scotellaro) in the absence of other free parking solutions. Since the first telephone contact with the structure, we have found a serious person in Mrs. Bruna, who feels responsible for taking up customers in the best ways and not missing them anything. And that is what we actually found at our arrival when the keys of the two rooms were delivered to us, spacious, comfortable, carefully and with rigorous cleaning and all the information that was useful for the The room was very good and the room was very good and the room was very good. We spent two nights in a quiet and familiar environment that made our experience in Matera pleasant in every respect. In the end, a B&B has been found that for those who are likely to stay in such facilities, it can be considered as highly competitive even with medium-high-profile hotel solutions that do not always guarantee this level of The Commission has not yet been able to make a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment.
