Pretty nice hotel at a convenient location (only 6 minutes walking from Matsumoto station). Amenities are aplenty, with ample washing machines/dryers and hot springs, sauna and cold pools. Free ice cream during the afternoon/night and yakult in the morning are plus points. Complimentary hot ramen at night is great as well. Many places to eat after hours nearby. Also comes with free mango pudding upon arrival in the fridge, which is nice. Nice place to stay if you are planning to go to Kamikochi or just go around Matsumoto yourself or with loved ones.

Awesome hotel. Very clean with all amenities you can imagine, like face masks, drip coffee, green tea, bathing salt, creams, lotions, toothbrush and much more! Very friendly staff. Parking was easy just beside the hotel in a parking Tower which costs 1200¥. Perfect location. All major attractions of Matsumoto are close by.

When I drove to the door, the receptionist inquired carefully. After learning the name of the reservation, he helped carry the luggage to the hotel, which was a very good service. Then I thanked ”Ms. Saito” for her help along the way. She carefully explained the hotel/room facilities and each food. The service was very good, recommended! ! We also spend the evening at ”Watashizuku” on the 6th floor. Although it's cold, you're lucky enough to have exclusive access to the open-air hot springs and the starry sky.

The service at this hotel is excellent. From the concierge to front desk. Location is near Matsumoto station. I was directed to a multi storey hotel parking at the back of the hotel. It cost 1100 yen per day (multiple entry per day). Just exchange your parking ticket with the reception . They settle the parking fees when you check out. The hotel is rather old. Looks like you entered the 1980s zone. Rooms are renovated to some extend but I could see the wear and tear. Housekeeping a bit sloppy as the window bay area was dusty when we checked in and there was a musky smell esp the bathroom.

We spent a pleasant 2 nights in Tabino Lit Matsumoto. Special thanks to staff Yumiko, who was super helpful (she took initiative to fix my split soles that gave way suddenly), speaks good English, gives good advice on local information. Tabino hotel is fortunate to have such great staff. Breakfast was good with lots of healthy vegetables, Public bath was relaxing and not crowded during our stay.

🌈 We were SUPER THANKFUL for the EXCELLENT location 🤗 It was easy to get to the different places around Matsumoto 👏🏼 However, we were a little disappointed that the double room was a little squeezy as the floor area was small 💬 Even the double bed 🛏️ was actually too small for 2 persons 👤👤 We wanted to book the twin room but it was fully booked during our period of stay 😉 Nonetheless, the hotel was still a huge blessing to us as the location is what matters more to us 🤗 Thank you very much, Staff of Matsumoto 🏆 We enjoyed the yummylicious daily breakfast & complimentary coffee at the lobby of your hotel 🍱 ☕️

Booked this place near Matsumoto city for my family to have a ryokan experience. It is about 15mins drive from the city and easy to find. There is also a Lawsons across the hotel if you want to get any snacks. But we didn’t need to as there was a welcome tea and snack and more tea and biscuits in the room. We had the family room which fit the 5 of us perfectly. There was the main room which can fit 3 and 2 more in the smaller room. The 2 toilets also made it convenient. Only downside was that we could hear water gushing through the pipes above in the night. We enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and morning breakfast. We were also allowed to reserve a 40min private session on the rooftop onsen. It was relaxing to have a hot soak in the cool night. Overall an enjoyable stay with excellent food and service!

It's a historical hotel with a long history. You can feel the traditions of Japan. They provide great service. Even though you it's a super old hotel, but it's very clean and tidy inside. They have done the renovation so you don't feel that old. That means you can feel the history but super clean and tidy.

It seems like it has recently been renovated, so some of the basic parts are still old, but it was well-maintained and the facility was clean. I think the meals were well-balanced without being too heavy on meat. The bath is said to come from a hot spring source, but it was so hot that I had to be careful to get into it. However, I think the power of the hot springs is that I was able to stay in light clothes until the morning without getting cold. If the changing room is dark, you will not feel safe, so I think it would be better if it was a little brighter. I think the distance between the staff was just right, but since my luggage was heavy, I wish I had an elevator.

This is a small hotel but pretty good. Between 10 and 15mn by walk from the Matsumoto station and 20m. To the castle. Rooms are well equipped. There is a lift and the breakfast included starting at 6h30 is a various buffet. Check-in and checkout fast and efficient. The price is affordable and they propose at the 2nd floor a Japanese bath
