Family hotels are like homestays in China, but cleaner than many homestays in China. There are shared bathrooms and showers, and a small hot spring, but there is no view and it is unisex. However, you basically climb mountains and hike, and the hot spring time is not very long. The hotel owner is quite enthusiastic, but he is often not there, and you need to ring the bell. The accommodation is quite good. The room is spacious and sleeps 4 people without feeling cramped. The mattresses and blankets are soft. Near the accommodation, good view The shower room has 4 separate rooms. There are 2 toilets, clean.
The price is not very expensive, averaging around 800 THB per night per person. In the bedroom there is tea to make. The tea is very fragrant. The refrigerator is very cold. The air conditioner must be turned on at 22 degrees Celsius to be cool.

I really like the ryokan, even though the bath is shared, there are no problem with using it. Everything is super clean. The only downside is that because the wall is super thin, if you encounter noisy guests at the hotel, it could get really loud. I had to ask a family to quiet down a bit after 12am, because they had a kid that was making commotions. But other than that I actually really enjoy the room (and it’s really the cheapest option in the area)
