I went to this hotel Riu le morne for the 3rd time and 1st time new hotel Riu Palace. Bars: Barman like Vish, Jamel, Nitish, Arouven, and Parveli deserve a grand applause. Well mannered and talented. Restaurant: Mary, Aswin and Yannish very nice, food was tasty. Plenty of choices. My favourite Restaurants are Bangalore and Kaori. Good chef. Welcome Front Desk: I wonder how someone could be so nice, talented, fluent english, very helpful, shows empathy.. sloves all our problems, we always search for her Henna is her Name. Hats off my girl. Spain also needs staff like you. Subdirector Franscisco was very understandable and Assistant manager welcome desk Vikish was polite and quick. Overall, hotel is very clean, room is great housekeeping Sameena very personalized in cleaning and decorating. Good job. One request: Praise your staffs mentioned above for their good devoting work. Will definitely recommend Riu palace mauritius to our friends and relatives.

From start to finish, our stay was incredible. We were greeted at the taxi door by the reception staff who took our bags, gave us a glass of fizz and took our passports to check us in whilst we took a seat in the stunning reception area. We were shown how to use the app to book restaurants and request room service. We were then escorted to our room with our bags to find a bottle of fizz in the fridge and a 'happy honeymoon' sign on the bed. A perfect start to the honeymoon. We tried all of the restaurants on site, the app was incredibly easy to use, and I don't know why some people struggle. Our favourite restaurant was the steakhouse, we visited three times and it was delicious every time. The buffet was great, always plenty of choice which changed every day. The only downside is the need to improve the labelling of food as it was sometimes incorrect, and this could be an issue if you have any allergies. The beach was beautiful, yes it was windy but we visited in winter at the windiest time of the year but it wasn't as bad as some of the "horror stories" made it out to be. You could comfortably sit outside all day and night without a jacket. The pool was always quiet, again, maybe because we visited in winter so fewer people were there and we could easily sit at the swim up bar all day if we wanted to. The best thing about the Palace was by far the staff. Every single person we walked past said hello and asked how we were. A special shout out to Vish in the Le Morne bar, Jason in the other bar, and John and Ola in the buffet. I wish I could remember everyone's names to shout out here, but everyone was incrediblely helpful, friendly, polite, and kind. They made our stay what it was. If I had to redo the honeymoon, I would stay here again as it was the perfect start to married life.

We came to the Riu palace for a total chill out for a week. It was exactly that. Great location. Brand new hotel. Great facilities. Fabulous food. Rooms are lovely and very friendly attentive staff. You also get to use the facilities of the Rui Turquoise family hotel next door.

Vish is the best barmaid of the island. Amazing cocktails Service and personal at the top Riu palace is well situated at the Morne. Thanks for everything. A little bit windy Paradise for windsurfing and kitesurfing A good place to be Hope to come back
