The hotel is very old, the service is good, half the price than Four Seasons, the environment and scenery are 60% worse, and the location is convenient for entering the city

Awesome place to spend a pleasant honeymoon away from the busy world. You have all the activities you wish except swimming at beach which can be done in one of the Grand Bay beaches. Over all it was a worthy experience and we loved the warmth of Mauritian hospitality.

Le Jadis est un très bon hôtel. Il est bien situé et très apaisant. Le personnel est agréable et serviable au moindre besoin. De plus, les restaurants ainsi que les activités proposées sont de grande qualité. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter au Jadis.

We were greeted on arrival at the hotel with warm towels and sugarcane tea and as we had arrived prior to check-in time, were given a lounge space with toilets, showers and lockers for while we waited. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, a member of the hospitality team who made mealtimes even more fun and special. The rooms were beautiful with views of a lovely green space on the complex and housekeeping staff were always on hand if need be. All staff were very attentive to needs of guests.

It was a very pleasurable stay with very attentive staff Renu and Justice were very helpful. Dinner time was always taken care of by Renu she went above and beyond for us, my husband fell ill and she even whipped up a special herbal tea for him. The place is very clean, food was great. The boat staff were very polite and friendly, again always going above and beyond to cater for us. Overall a fantastic place to visit great food, clean, good staff, private and enjoyable.

We wanted this to be a special luxury holiday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. To say our expectations were met is an understatement. The spacious beach front suite was incredible - the view, the pool and the facilities in the room were exceptional. The food was of a high standard; delicious, plentiful, wide ranging and the service within the restaurants was second to none. We were made to feel so welcome by all staff who were warm, friendly, courteous and professional. The level of service throughout our stay was outstanding whether reception, restaurant staff, housekeeping, gardening and management. Any question we had was responded to immediately and always with a smile. We have special thanks to lovely Renu in the restaurants as well as Nana, Divesh, Shakhil and Kieran. We would also like to thank Zahra in the reception team for responding to our every need in such a positive way. Tina in housekeeping kept our room immaculately. We have been made to feel so special and this has been the holiday of a lifetime for us. Thank you everybody at Le Jadis.

very good example of bad hotel. I didn’t like anything. This place was so disgusting. Bugs everywhere, horrible customer service, worst experience ever. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY. The sink is blocked, the food is bad, even there is mice is running around when we were having our dinner. And when we raise this issue to the waitresses, she responded that don’t worry it does not bite.!!! It feels like everything in the room is collapsing, the ceiling is dripping water since we get in into the room and it seems that the leakage does not stop even after the maintenance tried to fix the problem.
