Aspire lounge lux Newcastle Airport. After a stressful check in as things have changed in 18 years, to the lovely calm Aspire Lux lounge where we where treated to a drink and took to our table, the service was first class , as was hostess Stacey , kind and caring and a people person , every place should have a Stacey. Also thank you to the chef Michael lovely food and brought to the table. Well done for making our trip special you are great 👍

Booked despite the rip off price due to Paul McCartney concert. Advertising stated 4 star and no mention of no on site staff or reception. Entry code sent by text an hour before check in and $35 surcharge to check in earlier. The place is a dingy dump, dirty and smelly, small metal frame double bed with thin mattress with springs that dig into your back. Stated private on site parking but only 6 spots for about 20 rooms. Noisy with truck and bus traffic as well as freight trains through the night. I am not an habitual writer of reviews for anything but this place was so bad I thought it necessary to warn others.

Don’t stay here. Rooms are really dirty and smelly. Cheaply furnished and needs to be maintained. A lot of permanent/ semi permanent housing residence. Called hotel as no reception onsite and had us moved to another hotel in the same hotel chain but nearly as back.Will not stay at another hotel owned by the Alloggio hotel group. Very cheap and nasty

I had intended to stay here for a week as my father was staying in John Hunter Hospital and found this place on a 3rd party medical website call Medistays. I arrived at 7.40pm to find the room had not been serviced and rubbish all through it. The overall condition very poor also. Photos completely incorrect. See my photos. Tried the number provided 4 times, no one answered. Had to then find elsewhere to stay. Finally got in contact 1.5 hours later where person said manager would call me. Still waiting for that call. 3rd party provider did not charge and could not be sorry enough and have taken this property off their website since.

This was booked for us probably based on the 4 star claim. Before you make a booking, slap yourself across the face for making poor life choices. There's nothing for you at this place. Only a soul less bland room with an uncomfortable bed. It's difficult to say anything about service because there is none. One highlight was listening to the numerous freight trains that Rumble through the station when you can't sleep. Also be prepared to park in the street...there's only 6 parks on sites.

Booked online - details not as described. We thought we booked a family friendly motel for 1 night on our road trip. However we felt unsafe. Smell of smoking/vapes throughout. Massage service at the entrance. Poor security. No reception/staff available. No refund possible. Appeared to be social housing assistance. As a family we were in 2 rooms on separate floors. Very limited parking (5 spaces for at least 20 rooms - needing to park on street).

What a huge disappointment and disgusting place to stay we checked in and we’re back out within 10minutes ! We travelled as a family of 4 adults and booked (and immediately got charged more than the quoted price ) we booked 2 DELUXE double rooms. That promised extra large double beds - they were standard beds on the cheapest frames which one of the beds was that loose that we weren’t game enough to sit on let alone sleep on. The shower was riddled with mould, the skirting boards, ceilings, walls and window sills were covered in thick dust, scuffs and stains, the toilet brush holder was covered in hair, faeces and was disgusting, the benches and sinks were not wiped down, the carpets were stained with what looked like vomit and blood. It was overall disgusting and breached so many health and hygiene protocols. We tried contacting the property via phone and email for 2 hours. (We called them 6 times and never got through once and after being on hold for a few minutes they disconnected the call) Thankfully we booked through *********** whom I contacted and asked to help dispute this case, they were more than happy to help and couldn’t apologise enough for the terrible experience. I sent them photos and even they agreed that it was not what the motel was advertising and they were not healthy conditions to stay in. Not to mention the free private parking was only 5 spaces and there is a caged area undercover that is just full of junk.

I can’t big this place up enough every time I visit I am always welcomed and great service from the warm and friendly staff who go above and beyond to help. Hat off to Jonathan who is here from Manchester Aspires for greeting me with a smile warm welcome and happy to help. He is a star and deserves a pay rise. Thank you for everything even if the food is below par 🙏
