Very pleasant clean stylish hotel, location perfect, especially if you need to go to the bus station. I liked almost everything. It is evident that the hotel management is suitable with love and great attention. From the downsides, that when evicting instead of returning the deposit of 25$, on the contrary, it was withdrawn an additional 65$. The front desk lady couldn't even find my reservation even when I had a confirmation number and an email she said that I reserved through a third party (TripAdvisor) and the reservation was under my mother's name and I was the one who made it and pay for it. The carpet of the room was so dirty, and the toilet was not even working right, I had to flush it like five times to make it to work. When I requested another room she gave me the keys of another room and they were not even working. So I had to go back and forth like three times to change keys and none were working. The lady was not helping at all and she had a bad attitude she made me wait for long time in the lobby. At this point I didn't want to stay in that hotel anymore because I was with my mother, she is 61 and she needs a special service so I requested cancellation of the room and a refund she said that I reserved it through a third party(TripAdvisor) and she couldn't do anything because she didn't know what I had pay for. So she denied a refund. I had to call the corporation office to solve the problem and she acted like she was talking to her manager. When I requested to talk to her manager she said she was talking to her boyfriend. Obviously I got upset and I just asked to respect my rights as a customer, because I had already paid. She didn't care that I had my mother with me and she kicked me out the hotel with my sick mother and she called the police on me like I was a criminal. Also I have to pay a $50 deposit. She said she was going to give me the money back. As today , I haven't got any refund. Please take action about this poor customer service. The employee was so rude. And please help me get my money back. Also I recorded a video of the keys not working so you can see that I'm not lying. And also I took a picture of the sticker they have on the door of ”TripAdvisor”. They have a sticker promoting TripAdvisor at the door but when I asked her about TripAdvisor, she said she doesn't have any idea about that and she doesn't even know what I had paid for through you. I drove over 5 hours from Austin for a marketing trip in the Rio Grande Valley. Got checked in, unpacked and went to grab some dinner. When I came back to the room, all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. When I opened the shower, I was disgusted to see it full of pubic hair. It was evident the shower wasn’t even rinsed out, let alone cleaned. I started looking closer and found even more hair on the floor outside the shower. I went downstairs ( because when I tried to call the front desk I discovered the phone didn’t work) but because it was almost 9 PM there was no one in housekeeping to clean it up. I asked if I could use a vacuum and was told no. I asked if there was a manager on-site, there was not. The guy at the front desk texted someone and asked if I could use a vacuum and was told no, they could move my room. Problem is the elevators also didn’t work so I already had to drag my luggage upstairs, the new room would be up more floors and why would I have reason to believe that a new room would be any cleaner? Very disappointed and grossed out.
