Location is good only a couple of minutes away from the Masjid. Room service on the 13th floor was very good. Brother Hannan and Saqib were amazing. The lifts are busy and crowded. Had to wait a while for the lift.

This was my first experience in KSA and one of which to Madinah. The Hotel is conveniently located close to Gate 338/339 of Masjid Nabawi and serves as a good location to walk as for the Hotel itself the check in process was delayed due to the busy nature of the hotel. It seems that the hotel is popular amongst the Southeast Asian population and I would say that the reception area is a complete mess in the sense that the lifts that serve the hotel are small in capacity and infrequent obviously during prayer times. The Bellboy service is nullified whilst they share the same lifts and this will put patience to the test! This seriously needs looking at or policed by the hotel management as this really erodes the overall satisfaction. These comments have been shared with management! As for the rooms we stayed in a quad bed and this was good and the rooms were clean and to the credit of our host on floor 11 (Kauser & Kassam) they were able to put a greater shine on the service. absolutely great service and always has a smile on his face! The WI-FI and mobile network coverage is one of the worst i have ever experienced and greater work or investment is needed to improve this significantly! during my time in three days i have contacted reception multiple times and yet nothing was done. i accept my stay jn Madinah was for the Ziyarat of Masjid Nabawi and local places of interest but a few of the factors i have mentioned have left me with this review. The room comes with a safe, tea making facilities, a fridge and countless bottles of water and shower facilities.

Grand Plaza Al Medina is highly recommended for those seeking a centrally located hotel with easy access to Masjid Al Nabawi. While the elevator and food service seeks improvement, the overall stay was positive, thanks to the comfortable accommodations and the hotel's prime location. An amazing choice for those prioritizing convenience in the heart of Medina.

Only good thing about this hotel is the Location otherwise they have many problems, major ones 1. Lifts before and after the prayer are supper crowded and you must wait 15-20 min for lifts near prayer timings. 2. If you book personally they will ask you to transfer money to their account, never do that because when you check-in they will say they didn't receive the money and you will end up paying double. I transferred to them 20 days before my check-in and they even confirmed by WhatsApp but at the time of check-in they denied receiving the money and my bank already deducted and transferred to them long back, anyway never transfer them money before check-in. 3. Room ACs controls are not working, either it will be very cold or you need to turn off 4. Room keys stop working every other day and then you go to reception to re-program the keys 5. Breakfast is only for Indonesian cuisine (like rice and vegetable curry) 6. Internet is very bad 7. Only STC mobile signals are good in room, others like Mobily is very bad signals in the room.

The room was too small or congested. Washroom was also too small. Over all the room was clean. The hotel provides free breakfast buffet with the room. The only thing positive about the hotel is the close proximity with the Masjid ul Nabvi.

Very near to Mosque. Approximately 4 minutes walk. Newly built food court is near as well. Lots of shops around the hotel. Money exchange is just beside the hotel. Lifts very busy at Salah times but I suppose it’s the same in all the hotels. If you are looking for a budget hotel near to the Haram, this hotel is the one that will be suitable.

Worst experience to have in KSA and in Umrah First big issue they have is being unable to fix the elevators issue it seems they have issue in the control units it’s logic is very strange it can keep moving with you up and down before going to your target floor this is if you were lucky enough and able to find one to use. Elevators Always busy. You can simply skip the prayer time because of the elevators. Also the room key is very strange you have to activate it every time to enter your room if you are more than one key because they only activate one key at a time per room which is something I have never seen before in any even average hotel!! Staff some of them are rude and some of them are normal. The maintenance of the rooms are less than average specially the bathroom there were insects and the door wood was damaged. And they don’t have any options for the Matress except the hard one which was so painful for my back. The only accepted thing which has nothing to do with there bad service is the location to Msjid.
