Oaks Melbourne on William Suites Reviews

I planned to stay into OAKS hotel, however the hotel arranged us to stay into the nearby hotel “Avani Melbourne Central Residences”. The place is great, as we stayed at 51st floor, its view is great too. Except that some cleanup to the oven is required, Very smoky when we used it.

Good location, short walk to the shops and pub.great view from balcony.

Great stay. Walking distance to Bourke St Mall.. supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants all close by. Room was clean, really spacious, and had a great balcony overlooking the park. Check in / out was really easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchen facilities are good for a longer stay. Request high floor to make the most of the view! Would stay again.

The room looks older than the one in picture. But the room's location is very good near CBD.

Excellent location with easy access to public transport and entertainment venues. However, there is no loading bay for unloading/loading of guest luggage and the front is a single lane roadway. A great inconvenience to find a meter parking lot nearby and to walk the distance with luggage.

Quick easy checkin, friendly reception. Hotel is a GREAT location right by Flagstaff Gardens and just along the street from Queen Victoria Markets. Easy walk or free tram ride to anywhere in Melbourne CBD. Room was big with a well appointed kitchenette, a super comfy bed and a decent sized balcony - our room looked right over the park with amazing views south of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, metro and tram downstairs, big room, new facilities in gym, however there are a few problems: 1. Slow Wi-Fi (＜5mbps) , intermittently lose connection or internet access, basically unable to browse smoothly at night. 2. Only one set of towel for each person is provided,but the hotel only clean the room once a week, so if you expect clean towel every day or expect the rubbish bin to be emptied soon then think twice before booking.

Accommodation was comfortable and the staff was both friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance to both the train station n famous market n restaurants/ malls located nearby.

William Street is a few minutes' Tram ride from MELBOURNE CBD. In fact, generally anywhere within Melbourne Free Tram Zone is near the CBD, hence only 4 stars for Location. Overall will recommend.
