Spark by Hilton Minot

Hotel is being renovated (we did not know this when we booked it through *******). Check-in was fast, front desk staff was very friendly, clean large room with 2 queen beds, non-smoking facility (which we wanted). Not sure yet if it will be quiet tonight.

Easy to find, friendly/helpful front desk check-in, room as expected, comfortable bed, perfectly functioning HVAC, construction in the pool/fitness area, so that should be nice in a few weeks.

This place was under heavy construction. $80/night. The entire place stank so bad you couldn't breathe. The paint fumes on top of the general stink was unbearable. The pool was closed due to construction as well. Most disgusting place I've ever been.

Like the upgraded room. Still not finished but a work in progress. We have stayed here many times through the years. The breakfast sucks. But I’m thinking hopefully it will improve.

Average. Three stars overall and four stars for the price which is good value for what you get. I honestly think this hotel has great potential and can become much better. Sink is outside the bathroom and no hock for the towel by the sink. The sink does not drain properly. Location of the hotel is good. The room did not smell great once we entered but we were tired after our long drive so we did not want to ask for another. Anyway, not a bad deal after all for its price.

Continental breakfast consisted of a muffin and bagels and bagels. That’s it! False advertising! They have not changed. It has been one year and the complaint still stands. Fix your Hilton! And the last reviewer was told it would be corrected. It isn’t.

Nice well kept motel. For better or worse it is away from shopping and dining options.

Road trip prebooking to accomodate a tight first day on the road. Met our needs. Clean but not special.
