We have been frequent visitors this park over a number of years however were disgusted that on this occasion family members who came to visit us were expected to pay $20 per person purely to be on site. They explained they were visiting family and wouldn't be using the pool but were still charged $18 each!! The big pool is now closed and the remaining pool is cooler.

Very good location, made better by the presence of the geothermal hot pools. Park well set up for campers, caravans, tents, cabins and motel-like units. Very clean and tidy. Well set up for adults, children, dog lovers, well equipped campers or dine out folk, and everyone else. Plenty to see and do, both at the park and nearby.

Nice unit with heatpump large in area had washer dryer vouches good beds. Hotpools a bonus. Recomnended great value for money. Has good cooking and breakfast facilities in rooms. Extra towels for pools. TV a bit limited. Can park outside unit staff are friendly and helpful.

Kia ora. We found this to be an excellent venue for a birthday and Matariki whanau gathering. Our accomodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped; the hot pool was superb and the surroundings relaxing. The atmosphere felt safe and respectful with a clear and sensible "Code of Conduct". Nga mihi nui! Regards to the team who run this place!

From the time we were welcomed by Dana at reception my husband and I had a very pleasant stay. She gave us very helpful advice regarding the free shuttle to Kaiaua to have dinner. As it was during the week we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet before all the families arrived for the long weekend. The chalets had everything we needed and were clean and comfortable. As an older couple we prefer the comfort and privacy not afforded by the bunk rooms and shared facilities. Hot pool was great and relaxing. Definitely do it again especially now I know that if you stay two nights during the week you get a third night free!

Customer service was fantastic. Amenities top notch, showers are free. Hot pool a added bonus which also is free. Right on the Hauraki Rail trail and close to the Miranda bird sanctuary. The Kaioua hotel will also be pick you up in their courtesy van for dinner.

Fabulous place, very clean toilets etc. Receptionist was really helpful - advised us about bike hire and the best route to take. Stayed in our RV but we had everything needed in site - the hot pool was brilliant! Very quiet site at night, stunning views.

Omg dont normaly leave reveiws but these ladies and there amazing care an attenion deserve to be outed. Dana,Christine. the lovely tall blonde tatoo goddess and all the other staff made our stay without them it would have been a good place with them it was a whole better holiday. Didnt feel i was staying at others place it felt like we were staying with very good friends money cant buy that sort of holiday. Just beware if you leave your parsely plant outside your motor home while at pub for dinner you may in the dark try to pick some and find a staff member has swapped it for a plastic peace lilly lol funny buggars real plant back in motorhome safe and sound. Miranda is now going to be our regular home away from home. Love ya all guys see you real soon. Summer and Brian

A group of 15 fellow hikers had the delight of spending 3 nights at this facility. It’s an amazing facility that suits most budgets. It’s spotlessly clean, quiet and definitely family friendly. The large kitchen and covered outdoor area is great. We appreciated the quick and efficient pizza ovens. The hot pool is pure bliss The location is great. The area is known as the Seabird Coast and it didn’t disappoint. Literally 1000’s of seabirds which travel between NZ and Alaska.
