Great location between stazione and city centre. Systematic 24-h check in. Rather large facilities. The room and the toilet/shower were very clean. Free Nespresso coffee when it you have not booked a breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Ostello SFN.

The price at night is really low. In front of the university and near the bus stop. The room is very small as the television, just needs for a night support. The bathroom is modern. I had to wait 20 minutes for hot water. Breakfast is not a buffet. There is a barman who asks you what you want to eat, so a piece and coffee. nice and available staff. Unfortunately there is no lift but for the little I paid there were the services I wanted.

The hotel is in an optimal location, the historic centre is accessible by a walk, as well as the station. Marco made the stay very pleasant! Super recommended to spend a good weekend in Modena!

Just 2 minutes walkable from Modena Central station.. Surrounded by some good restaurants... Very cooperative and polite staff.. Housekeeping is excellent every day. What else do you need for a comfortable 8 days stay,..

The breakfast was very good, the water pressure in the shower was very nice, the room was clean, the staff friendly and the location is excellent, close to the old town. However, we hardly slept at all, due to the typical Italian bed: hard mattress, thin pillows and no duvets, just a thin linen sheet and a plaid. I doubt that many people who haven't grown up with an Italian bed are comfortable sleeping under a thin sheet tucked in on three sides... thankfully, there were two extra pillows, otherwise we would probably not have slept at all. After two nights, we still had stiff necks and sore backs. I have stayed at privately owned lodging that offered nordic bedding in Italy, so I know it's possible. It would be most welcome if Italian hotels were to adopt that as well The bathroom is tiny, my 1m90 tall Partner hit his knees everywhere and he was only able to turn on the water in the shower by leaving the glass door open. Furthermore, our booking.com confirmation said our room had a balcony, but we only had a small window in a corner. Due to that, the room git really warm during the night (at the end of April), and we couldn't leave the window open due to street noise. Finally, the walls are so thin I was able to listen to our next door neighbour's entire phone conversation, including what the person on the other end was saying ( they were most likely on speaker, but still.) I'm aware that's not easy to fix, but maybe signs asking guests to keep their voices down at night would help?

.. una notte, consigliato da un amico locale perché vicino e comodo .. non do un voto massimo perché credo sia ora di una bella ristrutturazione, alle camere, ai bagni, al condizionamento ( un pochino rumoroso ), alla insonorizzazione ( specialmente quando le moto fanno scuola guida ) .. però in cambio ha personale disponibile e presente, una comodità eccezionale e un parcheggio libero .. nelle vicinanze c’è anche un bel ristorante convenzionato per servizio in camera
