we had an amazing time staying at the Delphin habib hotel , big shoutout to the animation team ( choco , hassan and Amir in particular) as they made us feel so welcoming and we’re unbelievably friendly . The receptionists and cleaners are also really friendly and helpful , zizou the trip organiser was also very nice to us and made it easy for us to book trips at a reasonably cheap price . The food is very authentic and mediterranean not very good for fussy eaters as they have no plain options like chips and nuggets however the restaurant on site ( the view ) is lovely food for a very good price. The only down side to this hotel is how long you have to wait for beach towels if you do not bring your own but all in all I would definitely recommend staying here if your visiting Tunisia, the hotel rooms are clean , the staff are all kind and welcoming and it is a beautiful country to visit.

The hotel is 3* at the most. Crumbling external coving, cracks down the sides of patio doors. No idea of gluten free...didn't understand at all. I was offered a plate of corn as a gluten free meal. Way too many managers walking around trying to look important barking orders to hard working staff. There was 3 bar staff and 1 waiter who were exceptional. They went over and above to make our holiday good. The food was mostly luke warm or cold. No plug in either our sink or bath. We asked for a room by the pool...we got a room far end and top floor. The staff did move us the 2nd day to a better room on the ground floor by the pool. Poor entertainment, a singer whose English was poor and didn't sing in synchronisation with the tune. Animation team just wandered around talking to guests. They did 30mins aqua aerobics once a day. Not a place I would recommend.

The hotel is a very fine one. Yes, it has its mistakes and shortcomings (I have read the one star reviews before) but you simply cannot except much more for this price and location. + : Staff is super friendly and understanding with kids (except for 1 person). There is a lot of folks working there! Really a lot.. Amazing amount of workforce.. Never seen before in Europe that much people working in hotel. Pools are as good as on the photos. Beds are excellent. Food is constantly available. Food for kids is even more constantly available :) For diners you can get away from the crowd by booking for the 'special' diners . Same kitchen, same taste, you don't get to choose from dozens of food, you get what they prepare, but there is no crowd. Simple tradeoff. We were in a suite w sea view - it was ok, first room on the corridor, we had like 90 degrees view. -: There are mosquitos. Not a lot, but red haired white skinned kids can suffer a bit from them. The hotel is applying gas to control the mosquito population but additionaly nets would be nice on the terrace doors. Food is what you can get when there are hundreds of people on all inclusive. That simply requieres a food factory. There was no food of dubious quality, sometimes the tastes were not to our liking, yet you trully have a wide range of dishes to choose from. So it wasn't a fine dining experience but it was totally ok and sometimes even more. Drinks are not the best. The all inclusice includes wines and beer which we tried only once and opted for the extras after that (bottled beer and wine from the a la carte menu). But it was not expensive at all so even if you are a bit pricky, like we were, you won't have to spend a lot. The half day camel riding program is a disaster. They take you to the outskirts of the next town where is a LOT of rubbish everywhere. It was like touring in a garbage dump. Outside the hotel the country is, well, not too nice. Garbage heaps, garbage, shredding and flaking plastic, and some more garbage. :( Unfinished buildings, half demolished buildings, etc. So the hotel is like a totally different world. The sea and the pools were a bit cold in mid June. A bit. Good between 11 and 4, not particularly inviting when the sun was otherwise not shone strongly. The sand on the beach on one hand is superb, yet there is some debris from construction! Pieces of broken brick. But not covered with it, only some. The so called amusement programmes are tooo loud. We were running away from it every time it started, they turned up the bass and played some techno - but we are a family prefering quite environment. Also there was a part of the evening program that was meant to be entertaining, but it was very very strong for us - the joke was that a male member of the staff dressed up as a woman, and they called 4 ladies on stage who had to walk and look sexy, etc. But again - you don't have to go there. Avoid this place it's filthy, the food is TERRIBLE considering its a country that sells spices the food is bland they don't even do chips to back up on ended up using the glovo app near enough everyday so was pointless getting all inclusive.. the water that comes out the taps is filthy and makes the plug hole smell of sewage. The staff absolutely hound you and over charge u for excursions, I literally seen the staff chatting up a 13 year old girl and flem in the pool scum around the edges where if hasn't been cleaned... who ever has given this place 4 stars clearly never even came here... the staff are rude and have u messing about when u first arrive. Dimps all over the place. Carpets in the halls are filthy and ripped. The room we stayed in had 2 plugs one being where the filthy stained fridge is plugged in so really one plug .. it said mini bar that was a lie.... the hotel literally had no bottles of water at one point so had to go and buy water to brush my teeth with.. was meant to be all inclusive and like I said couldn't get water. The money exchange man is rude (infact all the staff are minus one waiter) the bedding is stained and woke up with a new bite mark off what ever lived inside the mattress everyday. The cleaners are pointless literally just change your toilet roll. WiFi is only good if your in your room or on the filthy carpet in the dark hall ways (none outside) literally heard people saying how their water coming out there tap was red and dirty. The beach in tiny so u can't really go on it unless your there before the 10 people that can fit on it also had horse poo all over it. The wardrobes are creaky so can hear if next doors getting changed. The toilets are covered in poo more then half of the time. They have a jewelry shop that sold us fake silver and we had to go back 3 times to get it sorted. At one point no lifts was working so the man who was in a wheelchair was stuck on ground 2 for hours. It says sandwiches and popcorn are available, all lies. It says they is a pool and a spa down stairs which is always closed. I highly recommend booking somewhere else as it wasn't even a 1 star experience let alone a 4 star. Wasted my money going here very disappointing to say the least. Only got one star because of that ONE waiter the rest was rude. Never again.

We stayed a day in this hotel and what to say about customer service !!! Manel at the reception smiling and listening. Madame Saida has ensured that all our needs are met. The swimming pool is large in the surface and deep. The outdoor furnishings are well thought. There is a coffee with a beautiful view of the beach of Monastir. The buffet is different and clearly exceeded my expectations, compared to other internationally recognised hotels. In photo the view I had from the buffet terrace.
