Hotels near Cerro del Topo Chico, Monterrey

The double room (2 single beds) is very small. No hairdryer and iron. The internet is slow but manageable. The drainage in the bathtub and bath sink always clogged up. Very noisy from 9 PM to 5 AM due to the bar club nearby (playing music all night long). Would not recommend to stay on the weekends (best is during weekdays). We stayed from Saturday through Tuesday (12/10/22 - 12/13/22). The hotel looks fine but the surrounding buildings/stores look old and shaggy. Very dirty in this area as people littering trash on the street during the day (and the government clean it up around midnight). Free breakfast is very simple just breads, cereals, and juices. The morning front desk staffs barely speaking English (the night staffs are okay). Most of the major attractions are walking distance from 1/4 to 1 mile. Lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby the hotel and food is very cheap. They have FREE shuttle to take you within 10 kilometers distance. We took the shuttle to the point view (mirador in Spanish) where you can view the whole city of Monterrey. The taxi from the airport is $25 USD and roughly 33 minutes drive. Taxi and Uber are also cheap $2 to $5 per trip for 3 persons within 1 to 5 miles. If you are on a low budget, stay here and the hotel is closer to all major attractions. Otherwise, go to the new town or old historical town is much better (1 mile from this BW Centro).

It has more motel services than a hotel, the room is spacious but it is easy to hear someone who is not only on one side but on the entire floor, the bed is firm and not soft, there was no towel in the room, it was requested and They brought it, the breakfast is simple but fulfills. Overall a pleasant experience, we only spent the night as we were going to a concert. 8 minutes walk away there is a metro stop

Very beautiful hotel that still smells new. The small lobby kind of threw me off, at first I thought I was at a residency but luckily there was a staff member waiting for me to check in. Room was amazing, very large. Sadly I was on the back so the view was not that great, had booked a King size bed room but got a double bed room at first. They managed to fix it for me right away. There were still some constructions going on but it didn´t really bother me. Everything was just super clean and looked great. One of the best hotels I ever stayed at, staff was very friendly and helped my girlfriend out with the valet service and walked up to the road for me to open the taxi´ doors too. One of the best hotel stays I ever had. Perfect for a business trip/meeting at the bar or for a couple looking for a luxury place. I didn´t have the breakfast included nor did I have dinner at the restaurant but I´m sure this was arranged fine by the looks of everything else. They were renovating the restaurant the last two days of my stay so I´m sure it must look very nice by now. Views from the terraces are very nice too. There is one on the right side that was kind of hidden, perfect view on the Cerro de la Silla. 9.5/10 would definitely book again. Kind regards, Davey

This is my first post covid hotel (although we still in pandemic) so I had a little torn and I took a grateful surprise. My 10-year-old daughter and I went only for one day and was very pleasant. At our arrival we felt later to enjoy. Antibacterial, signs in the floor of healthy distance, thermometers, careful foods, maximum host 10 people and everything was respected at all times. The hostel was difficult to be separated all of us because we couldn't move much but so is now and we have to adapt**** but I liked guests with children also very aware all and enjoyed it because the time is 7 to 10. This is a nice e hotel, with a great interior design, and very comfortable spaces. Located in Valley Oriente mall in San Pedro, NL, its a great option if you are visiting Monterrey, as is conveniently located and in a very secure area. There are plenty of dinner options nearby, and the site restaurant and bar are good options as well. The only but i see in the room design is that the water closet is not completely enclosed.
