Nous sommes Montpelliérains et avions envie d’essayer cet établissement. Nous avons pris le forfait séjour gastronomique avec une nuit incluant le repas au jardin des sens. Nous avons été sur un nuage de l’entrée dans l’hôtel à la sortie du bâtiment.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une chambre très agréable, avec une réception professionnelle. Un grand merci à Rémy pour son accueil chaleureux. Le dîner était succulent, varié, et plein de saveurs, vraiment au top ! Par contre, le service était trop rapide, ce qui donnait l'impression qu'on nous poussait à terminer rapidement. L'ambiance était un peu bruyante, avec beaucoup de va-et-vient des serveurs qui couraient devant nous,

We stayed three nights in a superior room overlooking the park canorgue and street ( rue st Pierre) The room was well appointed and comfortable, as one would expect from this category of hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially upon arrival. We loved our exceptional tasting dinner at Jardin des Sens, the tapas and well made cocktails in the bar, and their very delicious buffet breakfast one morning. A couple of sour notes we experienced though- Unfortunately our room air conditioner did not ever work properly during our stay, and we were awakened by loud boombox partying in the square directly below our room in the middle of the night, two of the three nights we were there. This was probably just our bad luck and timing, but it’s definitely not what we expected during the most expensive stay of our 17 day vacation in the region. Overall however, the hotel is quite beautiful and nicely situated on the place Camargue, a charming small park with a unicorn fountain and a few cafes. Although we needed a taxi from and to the train station with luggage , we easily walked there from the hotel and back on the day we day tripped over to the seafront town of Sète. I appreciated the higher hill location, away from the busier Place de la comedie, but very close to the gardens, arc and the breezy hilltop plaza , place royale du Peyrou. I especially loved exploring the neighborhood from the cathedral over to the Fabre museum. Montpellier is a beautiful historic city to wander through and enjoy.

Ein traumhaft schönes und schön gelegenes Stadthotel im Herzen von Montpellier gelegen. Das Palais war früher das Rathaus. Das historische Gebäude wurde nicht nur bestens renoviert, sondern auch mit moderner Kunst ergänzt. Dass in einem Relais&Chateau-Hotel alles bestens ist, versteht sich von selbst: Betten, Bäder, Technik. Nicht zu vergessen die beiden Restaurants (eines mit Michelin-Stern), das andere im lichten Innenhof. Und nicht zu vergessen die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. So herzlich und hilfsbereit. Eine sehr große Freude ein Aufenthalt im Hotel Richer de Belval.

La bâtisse est magnifique sur cette place plein de charme,tout l’hôtel cache des plafonds plus beaux les uns que les autres.Les chambres sont spacieuses avec de hauts plafonds elles sont très bien équipées et le silence y est de mise Le seul bémol,il n’y a pas de piscine Nous avions séjourner dans l’ancien jardin des sens et la piscine était très agréable

Très bel hôtel particulier, situé en plein centre de Montpellier avec un service irréprochable. C’est très agréable de se faire acccueillir avec autant d’amabilité. Le voiturier s’est même transformé en guide historique et nous a organisé une visite guidée très intéressante. Le lieu est magnifique, chargé d’histoire et parsemé d’innombrables œuvres d’art. Même si vous n’y séjournez pas, cela vaut le coup d’œil pour le plaisir des yeux. Nous y avons aussi pris un verre en terrasse, dans un cadre charmant avec un service toujours aussi irréprochable. Alors un grand merci pour votre accueil et nous y reviendrons dans quelques jours pour déguster un repas du restaurant bistronomique.

Sublime séjour de 3 nuits dans ce cadre magique. Tout a été parfait. De l'accueil, aux deux restaurants, service parfait, à l'écoute et surtout une très grande gentillesse naturelle.le petit déjeuner très gourmand avec des produits bio (pour ceux qui en souhaitent). Le confort des chambre et une belle literie. Superbe établissement ou le plus difficile est d'en partir malheureusement.
