Acknowledging that choices in Morehead City would be limited, stayed at the Bask Hotel. It has a great location on the heart of town and presumably near surrounding activity with a friendly staff. If you’re visiting in business, there wasn’t a desk in the room to do any work. Also, you order breakfast the night before and it is delivered but quality was lacking. In retrospect, I would have preferred to stay at a national chain.

The service & location were excellent. The room was comfortable. The decor was updated and pleasing. The carpets need to be cleaned in our room. The bathroom showers were a little awkward, overall it was a great place.

What made this trip enjoyable was that I was there celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary with my husband.
This was our 3rd year at the BASK and we never had any issues and always loved it, until this year. Unfortunately, we had an issue with roaches in room 404 and we had to store everything in the refrigerator. Front desk stated that they would send someone to spray the next day but we were checking already checking out the next morning.
The front desk clerk and Tiffany were very understanding and sympathetic to the problem and Tiffany even gave us a free night stay for the inconvenience.

This was our first time traveling to Morehead City and we were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The Bask hotel was in a perfect location and the staff was lovely. Drew was the best, he made our stay so memorable! He certainly cares about his job and his clients. Can’t wait to visit this city again, and we will be sure to stay at the Bask Hotel next time in town!

This property was ok. The rooms/suites did not have a desk from which to work but rather it had a table and two hard chairs. Paying $7 to park and $1.50 for the room safe are unnecessary. The bathroom was small and had a corner step into tub which was difficult to get in and out. The toilet and mirror were not clean.
All in all I probably would not stay here again if other choices were available.
