We contacted the owner beforehand, and they were very helpful in arranging the shuttle service to Mount Everest. After our trek down, we were treated to some absolutely delicious yak hotpot – what a perfect and satisfying meal! And their sweet tea? Hands down the best I've had since arriving in Tibet; it was perfectly sweet without being cloying. To top it all off, the owner personally came out to bid us farewell before we left, which was incredibly thoughtful and touching.

The hotel in Basong Village at the foot of Everest is unexpectedly good, especially clean and warm, and is the best accommodation experience after leaving Lhasa. The facilities and decor are similar to a hotel like Atour, very clean. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. She took us to our room, turned on the oxygen supply, booked the eco-friendly shuttle for us, and even walked us to it. You can also borrow windproof jackets for Mount Everest here, and she gave us excellent recommendations for local food. When we got back from Everest in the evening, she even came to our room to make sure the oxygen was working properly – definitely a big thumbs up! The breakfast was simple, just buns, steamed bread, and congee, which is actually perfect for those experiencing altitude sickness.

晚上製氧機的聲音真的很大（出氧氣聲音），住的別的酒店都沒有這個問題，不知道為什麼這家這樣。 衞生間淋浴碰到你打開水的那一刻，簡直是天女散花，根本沒有辦法好好洗澡，不知道別的房間是否是這樣的。另外衞生間的設計很bug，洗澡的時候會不小心把紙巾和毛巾都弄濕。 早上起來洗手枱上還有小蟲子，消殺建議好好再做一下。 房間整體裝修還行，但是價格高性價比不高。
