"This hotel offers excellent value for money! Located in Everest Town, the hotel helped us book seats on the scenic shuttle bus. When we went, it departed right on time, and the friendly front desk guy even walked us to the pick-up spot, though it was very close. The scenic bus ride to Base Camp takes about 40 minutes and the road conditions were great. The hotel's overall decor is a simple European style, with comfortable and warm colors. The room facilities are complete and well-maintained, with oxygen and underfloor heating both working effectively. What truly stood out was the centralized humidifier, the only one we encountered during our entire trip in Tibet, which made sleeping incredibly comfortable. The restaurant environment was also very clean. Before our arrival, they proactively contacted us with information about the hotel's location and check-in details, and even provided reminders about high-altitude precautions, showing great warmth and professionalism. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully provided glucose drinks, demonstrating truly comprehensive and personalized service. Honestly, I never expected such a comfortable hotel near Everest Base Camp. Highly recommended!"

"Finding such a professional yet warm hotel in the small town at the foot of Mount Everest was a delightful surprise! The hotel's underfloor heating system transformed the cold highland nights into a cozy spring, and the smart oxygen supply equipment in every room was an absolute lifesaver – just a few minutes of oxygen when I had a headache made a significant difference.
From the front desk staff patiently explaining how to use the oxygen equipment to the easily accessible oxygen ports right by the bed, every detail showed thoughtful care for guests at high altitudes. Waking up to a golden snow-capped peak right outside the window and being greeted with warm tea upon returning in the evening – the balance between 'embracing the wilderness and ensuring safety' was perfectly struck.

Like the room and the hotel being new, has some interesting interior decoration. This is the best hotel to stay outside after the visit to the base camp as the other hotels are older."

"This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent; they can help arrange transportation to Everest Base Camp and drop you off right at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and brand-new facilities. The room was very warm with underfloor heating, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and there was plenty of medical-grade oxygen, so I slept soundly all night. The staff were warm and attentive, efficient with check-in and check-out, and patiently answered all my travel questions. Even in winter, the breakfast wasn't bad; because there were fewer guests, the hotel offered a reservation system, allowing us to choose our own breakfast and avoid wasting food. Overall, it's excellent value for money, suitable for both business and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"The trip to Everest with my boyfriend, because this hotel is doubling in romance! In the evening, the boss of the young lady took us to see the starry sky, and there was a bonfire party. Many young people, the Milky Way is overhead, and she also helped us take a great photo. Watch a movie with a projector in the room, the atmosphere is super good. Open your eyes in the morning is the snow-capped mountains, sweet tea warms your hands, this experience is unique, and it is strongly recommended to couples!"

"Let's talk about the accommodation first. Although there wasn't a private bathroom, I still found it quite comfortable. Figure 1 shows a rough overview of the camp. Our tent had six double beds, Figure 2 showed the communal dining table inside the tent, and Figure 3 showed the room (which only had a bed and two nightstands). The tent had a sink with a water heater next to it (Figure 6), as well as a basin and disposable basin cover (Figure 5), making washing quite convenient. The bathroom was portable and a little further from our tent, about a minute's walk. We couldn't find a shower, but at 5,000 meters above sea level, it's best not to shower. 😅
As for the value for money, we checked in around 3:00 PM and left at 12:00 the next day. We didn't have to worry about the bus's arrival time back in town. If the weather was good, we could easily watch the sunrise and sunset from Mount Everest. We didn't have to pay for two bus rides, which was equivalent to saving one. Minus the room rate, I think it was a good value."

"Love the overall vibe of this place (I upgraded my room to Mountain View later on and it’s so good). There is also some sound-proof mechanism in the room and I was able to sleep so well ! (much better than when I was in Lhasa despite the increase in altitude). I was able to have great sleep and naps that prepped me very well for the day’s exploration and hiking.

Now I know when I visit here again, there is a very comfortable place to stay (am planning to invite friends from Singapore over next year ::) Huge kudos to Mr Doje for bringing this place into existence in the Himalayas and organizing stargazing event every night. The night sky. What a wonder. I’m grateful to be here.

GGuest UserFirst of all, the hotel's front desk staff were incredibly helpful. When our car had a flat tire, they changed it for us, getting themselves all dirty in the process. Then, they were the ones who cooked our food, and it was absolutely delicious, with flavors perfect for northern tastes. They even carried our luggage for us, saying, ”Our job is to provide excellent service to our guests!” Having such responsible employees is a blessing for any business owner!

We contacted the owner beforehand, and they were very helpful in arranging the shuttle service to Mount Everest. After our trek down, we were treated to some absolutely delicious yak hotpot – what a perfect and satisfying meal! And their sweet tea? Hands down the best I've had since arriving in Tibet; it was perfectly sweet without being cloying. To top it all off, the owner personally came out to bid us farewell before we left, which was incredibly thoughtful and touching.

GGuest UserA family hotel run by ******* compatriots. Located in the center of Basong Village. We called to confirm at 10:30 pm and placed an order. We arrived at 1:30 am. We knocked on the door and the proprietress was still waiting for us. There were no slippers or towels in the room and no room card was required. It was a two-story ******* house in the shape of a Chinese character U. On the left side of the door was the restaurant. It was a typical ******* style. They also provided porridge and pickled mustard in the morning. At the foot of Mount Everest, except for the high-end B&Bs starting at 500 yuan, the express accommodation conditions were average, but much better than the bunk beds at the base camp…

First of all, I have to boast about its cleanliness, every corner is refreshing and tidy, and the living is super comfortable; the parking spaces in the front and back yards are super abundant, so I don’t have to worry about driving. The most surprising thing is the viewing experience~ Open the window in the early morning, Everest's whole view hits into the eyes without obstruction, and Xuefeng flashes in the morning light, and is instantly cured! The small intelligent assistant in the room is super intimate and the voice control is super convenient.
At night, it was more exciting. The Tibetan yak beef hot pot on the first floor was fragrant to the top. The meat was fresh and tender, and the special marinade was absolutely perfect! While eating hot pot, you can also watch the authentic Tibetan performance, and the atmosphere is directly full. Another key point: If you want to go to Everest, tell the boss in advance, the bus will be arranged clearly, worry-free and reliable. By the way, don’t forget the free breakfast in the morning, be sure to get up early, don’t miss the hot Tibetan food.
