Mountain View Hotels in Aso

"We loved our stay at Kosugi Resort Lodge. The tatami room was huge and comfortable, with plenty of space to settle in. The unit comes with cooking facilities and a separate toilet, vanity, and bathroom — though the bathroom was cold to use during our stay. Location is great, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountain range that made every morning feel special. The onsen was unfortunately closed, but they provided vouchers for a nearby public onsen, which turned out to be a wonderful experience on its own. Overall, a peaceful, scenic stay that we’d happily come back to. Note to register at the reception which is near the entrance (parking lot #3) before heading to the lodge, about 3-4mins drive in. They have a resident cat which is super cute :)"

"Overall clean, nice, spacious room and staff service is good and we the special pillows ‘True sleeper’. Only issue is that the room we stayed faces the main road and the windows are not sound-proofed. We could hear noises from vehicles driving passed in the night."
