整體來説,在室户岬這裏前不着村後不着店的地方,還算是不錯。附近有觀光案內所可以租電動助力車,建議可以租。

It is an older B&B with dilapidated facilities. There was a power outage on the day of check-in! The hot springs in the female guest area are relatively small, so if there are many people staying that day, it will feel crowded!

I felt that this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel is located at the tip of Cape Muroto, down a slope. The exterior of the hotel has a tasteful look that seems to come out of a Ghibli movie. The interior is also very old, so there are some broken parts, but you can feel the history. (Apparently, the roof of the main building was blown off a few years ago.) The bath is made of cypress for women! Depending on the time of day, you can have it all to yourself. Dinner is mainly seafood, and is served in just the right amount. If you can drink alcohol, please try the sake recommended by the Tosa sake advisor! They actually brought over a dozen types, and you can choose the sake that suits your taste. All the rice was very delicious, but the one that was particularly impressive was the vinegared lotus root stem called Ryukyu, which was easy to eat with the sourness of yuzu, and was just right for a drink. You can see the Pacific Ocean from your room, and you can see the beautiful sunrise. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade dried fish as the main dish. The service and interior design were all excellent, so it's a hotel I'd like to stay at once a year.

It shows as a luxury hotel and is rather a hostel, that means very bad value for your money. The building is old and needs urgent renovations. We didn't get the room cleaned eventhough we asked for it. The seaview is gorgeous though and the staff very friendly. The dinner was surprisingly delicious. The hotel is very difficult to find since there is no sign (in English) from the road. You need to completely trust Google.

Beautiful service, rooms and views. Then there was the food - both dinner and breakfast were delightful - very well presented and very tasty ... especially the char-grilled bonito. Would have liked to stay another day as there are many walks both coast and up to to the lighthouse.
