The Sandbar Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Sandbar hotel is a dump, dirty , loud music by the pool till 11pm, tv was grainy at best , no guide and limited channels, parking is tight. Coffee machine in rthe lobby is risky, bring your own pot or even better , find a different hotel, lots of vacancies to choose from in Aug. right on the beach!

Room was in a Motel and not a Hotel. It was filthy and not updated in the last 2 decades and was nothing like the photos in the listing. Very misleading. After going right back to the front desk to cancel within 10 minutes, the front desk told us our payment would "fall off" as it was still in "pending" status. 2 weeks later we still have not received our refund. Terrible experience with this Motel.

The rooms were dirty and not cleaned properly, there were still clothes in the chest of drawers! The curtains had holes and rips. Had to change rooms when getting ready for bed as there was a roach on one of the beds.

I had a great experience. Front desk staff were amazing. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the pool and mini lazy river. Not a single complaint of this hotel. It was well worth the cost. Loved it would come back ^_^

The room was filthy, dusty, and not even nice upon arrival. Google shows it to be an oceanfront hotel, however, it’s not. It’s a street over. Not to mention, the lady in front office whom you have to deal with, Betty, is horrid for the public to work with, thankful I recorded her rudeness. They kept my $200 cash deposit, saying we smoked in the room, when we DID NOT!!! That was all the cash I had left, they swore I’d get it back at check out, they kept it. The owner was no help, he was also rude!! We have a lawyer in the family, thankfully. No wonder it’s only a 3.7 star. It should be lower. I have videos and photos of this disgrace of a “hotel” … The lazy River they brag about, is so tiny it’s like a kiddie pool, what a joke. The actual pool was full of sand and full of children with no parents to supervise them, all of the people were complaining about the kids in the pool yelling and cussing them, the front lady Betty did NOTHING. They also charged us an extra $150 cleaning fee, that was never mentioned. What was supposed to be a $177 hotel turned into over $500 for just one night. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.

Hotel NEEDS a update desperately! NO Breakfast options. Funny smells in the elevator. Room smelled funny. Tub barely drains while showering. NEEDS a update!

Great location of hotel. Property was clean and rooms were well maintained. We loved the lazy river and access to an indoor pool. We would stay again.

AC went out in our room. The other couples room the ceiling was leaking on their bed. The other couple bathroom was dirty. House keeping does not clean while you are there. So apparently housekeeping doesn't clean period. The rooms have roaches
