I have stayed at Hampton by Hilton elsewhere before, so when I came to Nantong this time I chose Hampton by Hilton at High Speed Rail Station without hesitation. The lady at the front desk was so considerate. Seeing that she was bringing elderly people and children, she took the initiative to upgrade the room and arranged it close to the elevator. The adjacent rooms are convenient for taking care of the elderly and children. I called at night to ask if I would like to stretch out the sofa bed. This kind of high-quality service is really great. The breakfast the next day was also very rich, very good and filling. ! There is an underground garage for parking, which is very convenient. If you come to Nantong next time, you will definitely choose Hampton by Hilton.

There are a variety of snack bars and Chinese restaurants around the hotel, and it is also close to a large supermarket and convenient for shopping. There are many bus stops in various directions nearby, and it is very smooth to go anywhere. The room is large and there are 45 square meters. The bedding is white and refreshing. There is a refrigerator and a dining table for your own food. The disadvantage is that some places on the floor have been soaked in water, a bit uneven, a bit unpainted, not very good-looking; in addition, there are toiletries that are not put, we went to get them ourselves. Hygienic is on the big side, and the corners are not cleaned. In short, we both feel very comfortable living, and it would be better if the management work was high-grade.

I was going to visit the Forest Zoo during the holidays. When I saw that there was a 4-hour traffic jam from Shanghai, I decided to drive to Nantong one night in advance and booked this hotel... The name was changed to Hilton Garden Inn, so I almost couldn't find it. It was actually an Ibis. I booked a so-called deluxe double room. The layout of the room is rather strange. It is quite small. I wonder why I had to ask for an extra bed. The mattress of the double bed collapsed seriously. I didn’t sleep well all night. It is about three-star standards and the price of more than 300 on May 1st is not worth it. I had too many expectations. The breakfast was better than I expected. It’s okay to stay casually.

CChrisHaven't been impressed with a hotel this cheap in years. Where do I start? Lots of shops and restaurants around. Newly built metro line with a station (Nantong University) within walking distance and as of the writing of this post free to use. Lobby was large and impressive. The in-room balcony was also beautiful, too bad it was too cold to really use it. The big windows gave nice views of Nantong University and I can only assume saves the company loads on energy consumption. The bed was softer than most Chinese mattresses so I slept great. The smart TV allowed me to cast videos from my phone. Robotic deliveries should be the law and this property had one. Some of the deliveries were slow, they could use at least one more robot butler. Although I didn't interact with the staff much they were great and actually seemed like they enjoyed working there.
The mirror is really cool but trying to sleep with that bright was impossible so I covered it up with some little stacked boxes. I couldn't figure out how to turn if off, other than removing the keycard. Wish this place allowed pets: the balcony, flooring, and cheap furniture would make this an ideal facility to stay with a furry bud.
This place is ranked #1 for Nantong on the app and I can see why: Whether you're a budget or luxury traveller, make a reservation here! Hope this is a chain and if I see one in my next destination that's where I'm staying

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel facilities are very good. You can see a small white robot when you enter the door. The front desk said that you can send things to deliver food. They are all wide to use small robots. The takeaway staff does not need to go upstairs. I like this very much and protect the feeling of privacy.
The elevator is a slow and steady feeling. There is no strong dizziness.
Environment: The environment in the hotel is good, it looks like the window is bright and clean, it is a recently renovated store. The restaurant is good, there are many types of breakfast, self-service choices (pictured above 😚) I heard that the dishes are different every day. The beds and sinks in the room are very clean and tidy. Tmall elf in the room can control the curtains, air conditioning.
The environment outside the hotel, I have to say that the traffic is very convenient. You can see the subway entrance when you go out, and the bus stop is at the gate. For shopping, there is a 24-hour convenience store on the right hand side. If you eat, there are Mala Tang shops and large canteens on the side.
Service: The biscuits and candies at the bar are quite delicious. The young ladies at the front desk are super gentle. Give Jingjing a big praise 😘😘😘

However, the hotel really doesn't cater to Western couples - it seems like everyone else staying in the hotel was a Chinese couple with young children. There was little information in the hotel about what the hotel had to offer, and there were a lot of things that were unavailable - the pool was closed, the two Western restaurants were closed, the bar was closed (and looked like it had never been open), and a lot of the eating places around the hotel were closed too. The hotel was very busy and noisy with all the families, and maintenance of the garden and outside areas of the hotel was not a priority at all - things were falling apart and they looked a mess. Having said all of this, it was nice to be able to walk on the beach and see the ocean. However, couples looking for a nice getaway where they can relax should look at going somewhere else.

MmeltemirocksI chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset!
Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

PPaulWe have enjoyed our stay very much. The lobby staff Anna and Lily were extremely friendly and very professional. English speaking was no problem at all. The location of the Hotel is also very good, very close by Harmony City Shopping Mall with endless Clothes and Food shopping opportunities. We booked the “Space” themed room which was very detailed and beautiful equipped 👌 The breakfast was a good average. Nothing special. Next to the breakfast lounge is a Kids room which was the favorite place for our son 👦. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. We are looking forward for our next stay at Ascott 👍

JJazzaThis is not our first time staying at the island. It’s also not our first time staying in a cabin. We keep coming back because of the fantastic service and friendly welcome inside the cabin. There is a fridge and a kettle. However, I do recommend bringing your own cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils if you plan to use the barbecue facilities. I also recommend that you take all the food that you wish to eat while you’re there with you as other than breakfast. There isn’t much choice in terms of vendors other than some drinks and snacks. There are plenty of things to do each day, some of which will cost you money, some are free. My family, particularly enjoy the big rainbow slide and the play park, which welcomes you with two big red windmills and a very friendly staff member. Overall a fantastic little getaway and somewhere I would definitely recommend for those who are outdoorsy.
