I booked four hotels of different grades during my trip to Kansai, Japan. I personally think this hotel has the best experience and a warm feeling of home. It is also conveniently located. Others have to wait outside, and couples cannot enjoy it at the same time. 🥺🥺🥺 3. In addition, the food is pretty good. Drinks are not included. There are not many amazing flavors. The first cold dish is the best. 4. The night view of Mt. Wakakusa is great, I must like this! The hotel will drive you up the mountain to see it👍 Let’s talk about the points that need to be improved: 1. The hotel service is a bit embarrassing, and the attitude is excellent, but there are always some indescribable feelings of inconsistency, such as kneeling service during check-in, and dining activities in the back. The waiter who checks you in does not even remember your last name and where you are. There are only a few rooms in the hotel (not for such a small-scale boutique B&B with few rooms), and there are obvious traces of the process. He also said that he would help to ask if there is any space in the private hot spring the next morning, but nothing was said. 🐶 2. The pillows on the bed in the room are very uncomfortable and too high. There is no difference between the two pillows as they are high. There is no choice. Be careful of stiff neck. 👴 3. The included dinner does not include drinks and menu upgrades, which need to be ordered separately, but we did not order them. When we checked out, the waitress came to ask us for payment. When we expressed confusion, she asked us if we had ordered dinner. Extra drinks. Please, don’t you keep track of whether guests order or not? Wouldn't it be rude to ask guests to confirm the check-out time themselves? 🙁 4. After observing the guests who stayed that day, basically the majority were Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), followed by a few European, American and Japanese guests. However, the hotel did not have a Chinese-speaking waiter. In addition to Japanese, it was Japanese-style English that was forced to recite words. I want to say that although you can communicate in English, but if you can't speak it, are you really respecting the Chinese guests by talking like a duck throughout the process? After all, it is extremely difficult to communicate like this. Some Japanese people cannot understand the English they speak. I wonder how the hotel has no Chinese-speaking waiters when there are so many Chinese guests and they even open Weibo for promotion? 🙁

The advantage of being close to the supermarket is that it is convenient to buy things. You don't have to eat breakfast in the hotel, which is not cheap. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Nara Park. You can take a look at the scenery and people on the street. The weather forecast said it would rain, but it was sunny and hot. With the deer feces, the air was filled with an indescribable smell, but my wife and daughter like it, so it doesn't matter. The gate and Buddha statue of Todaiji Temple are a bit special, and there is also Nigatsudo, which has first-class scenery. Nara is not big, suitable for a slow stroll, but unfortunately there is no time to go to Toshodaiji Temple. The next morning, JR went to Inari. The small museums here are charged, which is different from China.

I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

I was looking for a spacious place to relax in my room during my stay, so I decided to stay here. There is a hot spring, but I made a reservation without knowing that I would be able to use it until 10 p.m., and the nearby restaurants close early at night, so I prioritized dinner and checked in, so I couldn't get up early in the morning. In the end, it was not possible to use it. The room I stayed in was really spacious and had several large sofas so I was able to spend a relaxing time. There was no problem with the room itself, but there was an inexplicable smell in the hallway on the accommodation floor, probably due to disinfection. I think the building is valuable because it feels like a good old big hotel from the Showa era. I thought it was a good time as the shop in front of the front desk was stocked with a variety of items. There was a convenience store within walking distance, so I didn't feel inconvenienced.

It is a building that feels the age at first glance, but when I stepped in, the nostalgic space that was carefully maintained spread. The room I stayed in ”Awafuji” was a really nice room. In a tatami room with a wide 々, the ceiling is high and you can feel ”I came to stay at my grandparents' house”. I thought it was lit up without worrying when I saw the garden at night. It was only once that I was able to meet the staff because it was a corona cherry blossom, but I was able to feel the hospitality of the hospitality. I would like to let you go again.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so friendly. We especially loved our interaction with Thapa Bishal during breakfast! He served our table and was the most friendly, kind and genuine person we met. Once in a while you come across people who are exceptional and one of a kind people and Thapa was that person for us. He made our stay so memorable by getting to know us, sharing more about himself, and he even made our son an origami deer :) incredibly thoughtful and a very meaningful stay. For my family, it’s the interactions that make the hotel stay feel so warm and welcoming. The hotel is near to Nara Station JR. just 10 minutes walking. Also is very close to the Nara Park and so many places for food around. The room is big, lots of space. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom is good. The service is really amazing. I arrived before the check in and they sent my luggage to the room directly. Very recommended.
