The best hotel experience we had in the entire Japan trip. The room is very spacious (about 30-40 square meters by my estimation) and it is spotless clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I especially like the Japanese style room design where you take off your shoes at the front door and enter the elevated wooden floored room. The location is unbeatable - only 3 mins walk from the Nara train station, on a small tourist street with tons of small shops and restaurants. The room is very quite even though it is on the tourist street.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.

A hotel that feels like a business + hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, 3 F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.

Or too busy? No room clothes! On the contrary, maybe the baby bed that the guest needed until the day before remained. The location of the hotel is located in the opposite side of the downtown in the direction. You can leave the station to the hotel and go along the track to shortcut. The lobby was wide 々. Amenity etc are placed next to the front desk and the style to take from there. toothbrushes too. However, the cup was provided in the room. The elevator is a style of pressing the destination floor with a card key. Some elevators also hold the key when going down . The room also has an air purifier, baggage rack, and alarm clock. Glass in a coffee cup and ice in it. The bath is card key, and there are other dedicated keys for women. The exclusive key is 々 exchange day. Hand towels bath towels are provided in the bath, so you don't need to take them from the room. Towel place, I think this is bad for guests, but it is quite messy, so I thought I needed a regular check. The washroom is 8, and 2 of them can be set up with parents and children. No sauna.

Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

The long-awaited purple Nara! Thank you for staying with my mother. Even at this stay, ... From the pick-up to the see-off ... Maruyama Chiichifu Concierge received a very polite response! Mr. Hashiya manager! Thank you for your wonderful time. Kengo Kuma renovated the guest room of 'Nara Prefectural Governor's Office' built in early 1900, and revived the taste of the Taisho Period to the present age. In November 1951, Emperor Showa renovated the San Francisco Peace Treaty and Japan and the United States When I was a child, such as the reception room ”Go Certification Room” of the former prefectural governor's office, which is also a historic place to sign the ratification of the Security Treaty, ... The historic site that was listed in the textbook in the social studies class is in the hotel. In the reception room, round tables and chairs By seeing it for the first time through furnishings, ... I was impressed and at the same time I felt strange. Above all, my mother, who loves Kengo Kuma's modern architecture, was very impressed, so ... Great success! The rag colle of the green brand is not only purple but also Arashiyama purple! Irafu Sui Miyakojima! The hotels in every area are wonderful, but ... purple Nara was better than I imagined. Next time, I will revisit with my partner at the end of April, so please do not hesitate to do so. Thank you for your continued support 🤲

We stayed one night in FUFU Nara on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto. We took a special train - Aoniyoshi from Kyoto to Nara and it was very enjoyable ride. We took a taxi from Kintetsu Nara station to the hotel. Hotel staff greeted us right away and kept the our luggage for us until the check-in time. It is located next to Ukimido and we were able to visit Todaiji and the giant Buddha before the check-in. Once we return, we had a nice cold welcome drink. Hotel staff were very professional and friendly. It was obvious that they take a great pride on performing their tasks. Our room was super clean and modern with some Japanese touches. And the hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We contemplated between FUFU and the new Shisui, but we were very glad that we chose FUFU. At FUFU, I believe all rooms are suites and come with the private open air onsen. We did read some reviews on the noise. We did not notice too much especially after dodging so many screaming school children at Todaiji. At night, we had teppan yaki dinner for our anniversary. It was pretty cool to dress in yukata with a hanten jacket. The sandals were comfortable, also. We walked through the bamboo garden to get to the restaurant. Our chef was friendly and food was delicious. With sake pairing, we had a great time. Breakfast was served at the same restaurant, and the walk was beautiful in the morning. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The lady who served us explained each dish very politely. It's hard to believe they are so helpful even without any tips. Staying at FUFU made our stay in Nara very special.

I believe it is important to acknowledge and celebrate excellence, and I sincerely hope that the outstanding efforts of the hotel team members are recognized for their service excellence: - Wang Yu Wen (Azekura) - Nobukazu Yoshida (Azekura) - Miyamae (Azekura) - Okubo Ren (Azekura) - Murata (Lounge) - Pabina (Lounge) - Kim (Front Desk) - Pitcha (Front Desk) - Arjun (Front Desk) - Dushanta (Front Desk) Some highlights of this stay: - Sparkling Wine provided for Bonvoy members during breakfast, ingredients also sourced from Nara - FHR dining credit has 125usd instead of the 100usd - Azekura the JP restaurant: one of the best teppanyaki and kaiseki I had in JP - no sento but there's a jacuzzi in the pool. The fitness gym was quite comprehensive The regular Room was already very big, comfy bed and clean! No upgrade this time since all rooms are fully booked - service! 100% good! One of the most friendly staff and quite a number overseas staff. - The hotel provide a shuttle bus to Nara station or Kintetsu Below content for those who has time to read To start, it was the first day of the dining experience at Azekura that got me to have not one but two dining occasions at the restaurant. Chef Wang Yu Wen not only delivered a gastronomic experience throughout my teppanyaki lunch course, but he also delivered a very personal one-one dining service experience. His culinary expertise was showcased in every dish despite my dietary restriction, every flavour simply delighted my palate. Kirito did an exceptional service by recommending a great local Nara sake to pair with my lunch course., The second day of Kaiseki was equally delightful and I was extremely surprised to be greeted by the 料理長, Mr Nobukazu Yoshida who honestly provided such an “Omotenashi” experience throughout my time at Azekura. Mr Okubo Ren and Ms Miyamae also delivered great service during my lunch dining on the second day. Overall, the dining experience at Azekura was the highlight of my stay and till now, I couldn’t help but marvel due to the great service that was initiated by Mr Wang Yu Wen. Additionally, I would like to commend the impeccable service I received during the check-in process. I I was impressed at Mr Kim’s patience and service throughout the check-in experience, and I was really glad to get a warm welcoming experience from both Mr Arjun and Ms Pitcha at the lobby. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate specific requests made a significant difference, setting the tone for an enjoyable and happy stay. It is evident that the team takes pride in delivering top-notch service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Furthermore, the hospitality at the lounge was exemplary. Despite the huge crowd during the festive season, the lounge staff did create a comfortable and enjoyable one. Both Murata and Pabina were some of those whom I felt had delivered great service during the evening cocktail hours. Lastly

GGoh Li ShanNara Visitor Centre and Inn is charming place located right next to Sarasuwa pond. It is about 7 mins walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Very near to Kofukuji temple. I stayed from 15-17 June 2023. I felt warmly received by the staff on duty at the inn. Quite a lot of them are Mandarin and English speaking. I really appreciate one of the elderly gentleman’s staff warmth when he took the time to explain to me the attractions around the inn that I can visit, and he speaks Mandarin very well! I also appreciate the other staff’s eagerness to assist when I asked them questions about tours or to recommend places for breakfast. A shoutout also to Yukina, who entertained me when I wanted to do the cosplay and Japanese calligraphy. I also really enjoyed the Japanese dance activity provided during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here :) I booked a Japanese style room, 8 tatami mats. Spacious for 1. Toiletries provided are sufficient. view from the room showed Kofukuji temple but was blocked by a tree. The only issue I had was that I was given the room at the end of the corridor. I personally preferred not to have a room at end of corridor for personal reasons, but the room was bright, airy and comfortable, and I was happy with it so did not request for a change.

The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast only provides japanese style food ; grill fish and onigiri The onigiri is huge, grill fish and miso soup is cold I wish they can make the onigiri smaller so We can taste more flavors And hope that they can provide a bakery corner for people who doesn’t like to eat fish Otherwise we loved the hotel and want to go Back again!! CCHIDEJIOYAJI0724I stayed at the 3 generation including my grandson. It was an inn near my home, and if there was no Nara Prefectural citizenship, there was no chance to stay. The parking lot is narrow, so it is a style to park at the entrance and leave the key. After the reception at the front desk, you will be guided to the room and you can provide tea in the room, which is an old-fashioned customer service. Although the entire building is undeniably aging, there was a sense of security because it was well maintained, cleaned, and corona measures. The room was a large room with the next room, but the five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji was a room in the direction where I couldn't see it. The bath has a large communal bath and an open-air bath on the same floor, but it was a pity that I had to change clothes and enter again. I used it properly as a large communal bath before dinner and an open-air bath before going to bed. It was an artificial hot spring, so it was quite a spring quality. Dinner was served in a private room with consideration for my grandchildren, but it was simple but delicately seasoned and was top class in Nara inn. Breakfast was also very delicious. The landlady was well supervised by the employees from check-in to check-out, and everyone's manners were wonderful. At dinner, we were waiting at the entrance, and at breakfast, we were 々 for employees with great consideration to guide us ahead of the elevator. There is no accommodation, and dinner is possible, and it is a revisit.

AAnonymous UserBecause before booking on Ctrip, I learned from the comments that this hotel would lock its doors from a certain time at night, and a key card was needed to open the door. I couldn't check in when I arrived, but I was likely to come back very late, and I couldn't get in without a key card. But it was troublesome to come back and check in halfway through the fun. Fortunately, the front desk clerk I met was very good at English, she was Japanese, and she was also very understanding and flexible. Finally, after communication, we agreed on a plan: she would check me in now and give me a room card, but I would not enter the room before the official check-in time.

GGuest UserFantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us. Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.

Excellent
Bbluetree2016130After all, it's good to be close to JR Nara Station. It's about 3 on foot. The parking lot at the hotel is three-dimensional, so you can rest assured in terms of security. It may feel a little narrow for two people. The semi-double bed is just right hard and comfortable to sleep in. Instead of having no curtains on the windows, it is a shoji door. The room with this atmosphere is also good sometimes. There are coin laundry and vending machines on the 5th and 9th floors (on the 1st floor), microwave ovens on the 1st and 5th floors, and free ice making machines on the 5th floor, so it is convenient for long-term stays. There is a convenience store nearby and there is a shopping street and a restaurant to go to Nara Station, so it is enough to stay without meals. A perfect hotel for traveling with your wallet.

XXIAOSAI ordered a double bed and made a loft. The overall space is not very large, but it is much more comfortable than domestic hotels. The hygiene and service are excellent. The location is very good. It is 7 minutes walk from Nara Park and 5 minutes from the subway entrance. A place to eat, drink and play for 5 minutes. You can play in Nara for a few more days, the deer are very cute

GGuest UserIt is a building that feels the age at first glance, but when I stepped in, the nostalgic space that was carefully maintained spread. The room I stayed in ”Awafuji” was a really nice room. In a tatami room with a wide 々, the ceiling is high and you can feel ”I came to stay at my grandparents' house”. I thought it was lit up without worrying when I saw the garden at night. It was only once that I was able to meet the staff because it was a corona cherry blossom, but I was able to feel the hospitality of the hospitality. I would like to let you go again.
