Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

The restaurant was a buffet both in the morning and at night, but there was not much to choose from and the hot food was lukewarm. There was a line of people waiting to enter in the morning. There was clearly a shortage of staff, and food, tableware, and towels were not replenished, and no one cleaned up the tables after meals. The scales in the large public bath were covered in dust. When I told the staff about it, they said ”I'm sorry!”, but they left it as it was. It's just not possible! I want my money back.

The location is quite far from JR Nara Station and Todaiji, the core of Nara travel, but Kintetsu Railway Shin-Omiya Station is a 10-minute walk away and Heijogu Historical Park is close. Bicycles are also available for rent, but there is a fee and there are no electric bicycles. Hot springs available in the spa’s main bath. The breakfast was good, the lobby was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. However, please pay more attention to room cleaning.
