The Hotel was great and near everything the ****** the outlet mall bourbon street..I love that I didn't need a rental car to get to all the places I really wanted to see

As a Hilton Diamond member, I expected a very basic level of service based on my status - and got none at this hotel. My room was tiny and on a low floor which meant the thunderous noise of the streetcar woke us up multiple times per night. The $30 breakfast credit didn't come close to covering the cost of a basic breakfast and coffee at Luke's. The front desk staff in the evenings did not show any concern or regard for basic inquiries or requests. I regret choosing this property. It did not live up to my expectations for a Hilton hotel.

I’ve never stayed here before. I selected it as it’s reasonably close to the convention center and a Hilton. The room I got is huge thanks to the Diamond Members upgrade. Not a suite, but huge. A/C works great, hot water. Mini fridge. No microwave as they are only in suites I found out. Bed slept well. Not the same as your home bed, but comfy. The hotel itself does not have a bar or restaurant, but, they are connected to Luke’s. An outstanding restaurant. I don’t think they have kids menus as I didn’t see one and in me 4 meals there, didn’t see any children. But you’d need to ask. Great breakfast and dinner food - I recommend the grits - breakfast and dinner. So good. Like I said close to convention center and river walk mall, but we took a Lyft as it was hot and muggy. Tons of local restaurants in the area and not too far of a walk to Bourbon Street or Caesar’s, but recommend a Lyft back. Very reasonable rates compared to the other Hilton properties nearer the convention center. Definitely will stay here next trip.

I stay here on business almost every week since April 2024. All personnel are always as helpful as they can possibly be, and I believe we all consider each other “friends” at this point. Last week, Mr. Ernel (friendliest Bellman anywhere!) told me about Hurricane Francine and said “it’s coming, friend, you may need to get out of town.” Sure enough — I then looked, and was able to get one of the last seats on one of the last flights out on Tuesday before Francine hit New Orleans. Above and beyond their business and courtesy, the folks at this hotel care about your health, wellness and safety I am forever grateful to Hilton New Orleans and Mr. Ernel!

This historic and beautiful hotel was comfortable and accompanied by great service. The location is also excellent. It’s just a couple of blocks from Canal Street and easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and the Mississippi river. Special shout out needs to go to Miss Chris who gave us a tour of the building and Christian at the front desk. Others were equally as helpful, though I can’t recall their names. This hotel is highly recommended if staying in New Orleans.

Did a short visit to New Orleans (Sunday-Thursday) with family from NYC. We stayed at the Hilton (NOLA/St Charles) and it was FABULOUS!!! At the Front-Desk, Samantha and Hillary provided EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service; at the Valet-Station, Alex and Mason were very considerate and responsive; at the bar, Bob made memories with that Smoked Blackberry Cocktail and my Extra Spicy Bloody Mary (it was so good, I ate all my veggies). As a Hilton's Diamond Member, I have plenty of options in New Orleans. However, the Hilton / St Charles continues to be our favorite because of the Staff consistently provides exceptional Attention and Service!

Very nice place in a very convenient location. Few minutes walk from all business and measure locations. Big rooms, very clean and great staff. I had a little issue with my room, but I was immediately moved into a new one. Road traffic noise if in the lower floors can be inconvenient.

This place is locked up tighter than a bank vault. That’d be nice except for when you’re waiting in the rain with your expensive car running and no valet in sight. Not cool. The Doubletree gave us (were reward members) cold water, hot cookies, and local maps in bags. Hilton in a beautifully historic building in New Orleans gave us 2 bags with 2 bottles if room temp water only. The restaurant? No. We were sat. I used to be a server so I have the patience and grace of Job. After I watched our server do three laps of nothing without getting our order in the middle of a miserably loud restaurant… I was out. I’m not paying $20 for a salad, while getting a migraine, while begging for my server to notice me. We ate at the cafe across the street. It was lovely. The room was fine, nothing special. It was lovely to return from dinner with an extra blanket and pillows my husband had requested. What wasn’t lovely was lifting the toilet seat to find it….not thoroughly flushed. I’ll leave it at that. The bathroom is small. The entry and closet are huge. The stay was sufficient but if we come through town again for either work or family I’m sure we’ll try out something else.
